The initial stage is the first and most important stage in a teather's whole career development,a new teacher will face all kinds of puzzles and challenges at this time.It is very important for a new teacher to get through the adjustment period and complete the transformation of the role in his/her professional development.Especially in rural areas where the teaching staff is badly in shortage,therefore,it is also essential to solve the problem of the vocational adjustment of the kindergarten teachers in rural areas and to improve the quality of preschool education in rural areas.The paper selects 143 new kindergarten teachers in Tangshan,Cangzhou,Xingtai and Zhangjiakou as the objects of investigation.Through questionnaire and interview,the author deeply studies the current situation of vocational adaptation of new kindergarten teachers in rural areas,and puts forward some suggestions on the existing problems,gradually improving the vocational adaptability of new kindergarten teachers in rural areas.This research mainly includes the following four parts:The first part mainly combs the origin of the research,research purpose and significance,domestic and foreign research status,the definition of related concepts and research object selection and research methods,research difficulties and innovation points.The second part mainly uses the questionnaire and analyzes the collected data to present the survey result about the adaptation of new kindergarten teachers in countryside.The result includes: all differences in some demographic variables about the basic situation,the vocational psychological adaptation,the adaptability of vocational ability,the occupational environment as well as the differences of the vocational adaptation of new kindergarten teachers in rural areas.The third part combines the research results of the second part with interview recordings in order to delve into the situation of newly employed kindergarten teachers in rural areas.First,in terms of demography,the population variables indicate that kindergarten teachers who have no academic background of pre-school education is less competent to adjust themselves to their work,and that there is a shortage in the officially secured positions open to rural kindergarten teachers,as well as the issue of the inadequacy in ability to adjust shown by the kindergarten teachers who have no guidance or receive no relevant training.Second,in terms of the professional psychology,there are problems of excessive anxiety about children's safety,the relatively low social status of rural kindergarten teachers and the dissatisfaction of those teachers towards their profession.Third,in terms of the professional competence,problems exist,such as the insufficient professional skills,weak management and incompetence in teaching research.Fourth,in terms of working environment,there are problems like the uncomfortable environment,shortage of resources,complexity of personal relationships and narrow chance of promotion.The aforementioned problems is analyzed in this paper.The fourth part outs forward some suggestions on improving the vocational adaptability of the new kindergarten teachers from the three aspects of the country,the kindergarten and the individual.At the national level: the government should complete and implement the relevant policies and systems,as well as improve the treatment level of rural kindergarten teachers.In addition,they also need to increase publicity,and improve public perception,as well as the training model of pre-school students;At the kindergarten level: kindergartens should carry out effective "teacher and student" system and training work for new teachers,and create good interpersonal atmosphere;At the individual level: people should have psychological adjustment and strengthen self-learning,and enhance the ability of the individual timely.
