Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Boarding Junior High School Students In The Poor Areas Of Baoding City

Education determines the future of a country.It is the fundamental cause of a nation.From the end of the 20 th century,China began to " combines different schools together which are too small to continue" to adjust the layout of rural primary and secondary schools.Due to the constraints of geography and objective conditions in various regions,coupled with the weak economic foundation,lack of infrastructure and basic public services,boarding schools have gradually become the main school mode in rural primary and secondary schools.As more and more students become boarders who lives in remote areas,especially those in remote and difficult areas.The management of boarding students has become a prominent problem which the boarding schools in rural areas have to face.It has became the focus of research.In order to study the situation of boarding junior high school students in poor areas,I chose five boarding junior high schools in Tangxian,Fuping,Shunping and Laiyuan of Baoding as the research object,using interviews,literature,Field surveys and other methods are used to conduct field surveys and studies.Through the analysis,we found that the problems in the management of boarding junior high school students in the extremely poor areas mainly include: First,in the management of education and teaching,the task of the students is heavy;the “study-poor students”lack of effective guidance for study,second,inadequate system implementation is out of place and there are problems with safety management,equipment is poor,weak safety education,potential safety hazards for students going to school etc.Third,In terms of dormitory management,the dormitory management system is not perfect,the implementation is ineffective,the teachers is insufficient and the dormitory infrastructure is not perfect.Fourth,catering management,insufficient facilities,limited food conditions,weak canteen management and low level of professionalization of canteen employees;Fifth,students' lack of physical exercise time and mental health education are lack,professional health care protection is not well.According to the series of problems reflected in the survey of boarding schools in the special hardship areas,we have explored the lack of investment in education funds,lack of necessary policy mechanisms and protection from the government,schools,and families.The school management concept is lagging and the management system is not perfect,the family education is poor and between home and school cooperation is limited.Those are the important reasons for the management problems of boarding students in poor boarding areas.Then I put forward some reasonable suggestions: strengthen the standards of boarding schools,increase investment in education funding,improve the school management system,strengthen the team of school teachers,implement home-school cooperation.
