This text,based on the cognitive development theory of middle school students,the psychological characteristics of the contemporary middle school students and the new curriculum standard,that chemical experiments are needed by students.Students are strained in a variety skills and emotional attitude values by chemical experiments.Therefore,In Harbin,three high schools are investigatied in present situation of chemical experiment teaching.Including,Heilongjiang experimental high school-the key middle school in Heilongjiang;Hulan No.1 senior high school-the key middle school in Harbin;Harbin Shunmai school-the regular middle school.In schools,students are investigatied by questionnaire method.The questionnaire datas are analyzed by statistical product and service solutions.According to chemistry teacher are interviewed,situation of Harbin chemical experiment teaching is that chemical experiments are broadcasted by video and are showed by teacher.students have fewer hours,less than one class a week.In chemical experiments,basic operational chemistry experiments are the most;inquiry chemistry experiments are the rare;research chemistry experiments are without.Through the interviews of the teachers,this reasons are summarized,Including the first that chemical experiment course is not attached to the school,so the experimental supplies are less.The second that chemical experiment course is not attached to the teachers,so the students’ class experimental hours are less.The third that chemical experiment course is not attached to the students,so the chemistry experiment was compacted by teachers and schools.The Fourth that students have a heavy burden of schoolwork and less time.The Fifth that the evaluation method of chemical experiment is single.There are two leading reasons,the latter two.After analysis,time saving and effective model of chemical experiment teaching is made.This teaching model is a chemical progressive experimental teaching model,including the basic operational chemistry experiment,the inquiry chemistry experiment and the research chemistry experiment.The students’ hands-on ability,scientific inquiry ability,Innovation ability is trained.Finally,the students are trained to be qualified personnel.
