The Case Study Of The Mode Of An Elderly Person Lives In City Community Of No Family Under The Perspective Of Social Support

The elderly person is the vulnerable group in society,as society ages,the life of old people has become a hot topic of the society.The elderly person is the vulnerable group of the elderly group,they face the needs from body to mental health.The problem of the elderly person who lives in big city and rely on the community care is becoming serious.In order to satisfied what they need,all kinds of support should be organized.Focusing on the elderly person of no family's need is catering to this era,and also it replies the real needs of this group.It can promote social work in elderly service and has a great significant in coping with the social aging problem.In this study,the author has investigated the real demand of the elderly person of no family,and provide help from formal social support and informal social support.Under these two kind of social support the author introduced emotional social support,material support,services support and social support.By multi-angle and multi-level way,get to know the client's life,dig the demand of the client,and make a feasible plan to help her to improve the condition of live,to regain the confidence of life,increase happiness in later life.Studies show that formal social support in the elderly person who lives in city of no family is playing an increasingly important role.Especially for the elderly person of no family who live in a city's community.community care play an important role of social support network,formal social support is irreplaceable.Informal social support at the same time as an indispensable part of social support network also play an important complementary role.To build perfect social support network for the elderly person of no family,we need to consider the reality of their living conditions,proving support of city government,community,institutions,and also link the help of friends and relatives,neighbors and other informal social support,making all levels of social support combined and bring out their effect.
