Traditional Filial Piety Culture And Moral Education Of Contemporary College Students

China enjoys a long cultural tradition with magnificent and profound,where the traditional culture of filial piety plays a significant part in Chinese traditional culture.As mentioned in the report by the general secretary Xi Jinping in the 19 th session of national congress of the communist party of China,"socialist culture with Chinese characteristics originates from the Chinese excellent traditional culture which is nurtured by history of the Civilization of Chinese Nation for more than five thousand years","Thoroughly implement the civil morality construction,promote public moral,professional ethics,family virtues and personal morality construction,inspire people to improve themselves and being good,treat the elder with filial respect and cherish the younger,be loyal to our country and the people".Traditional culture is the root of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,making filial piety culture is also an important part of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,thus filial piety culture education can constantly promote the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Traditional filial piety culture education is closely related to moral education.As the moral norms for human beings and the basic principle of behaving,traditional filial piety culture should be applied to the moral education of College students,which can not only make college students have a correct understanding of the basic moral standards,but also help college students consciously integrate filial piety culture into the practice of socialist core values.There are four parts in this paper: the purpose of the study and the present situation at home and abroad are elaborated in the first part;Along with the main contents and functions of traditional filial piety culture,the related concepts of filial piety,filial piety culture,morality and moral education of College students are illustrated systematically in the second part;the current situation,problems and reasons of the practice of filial piety culture among college students are analyzed in the third part;the methods of integrating traditional filial piety culture into moral education of college students are proposed in the last part.
