Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Ice And Snow Sports In Primary And Middle Schools In Haidian District Of Beijing

Primary and secondary school students are the hope of the nation.Under the background of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games,it is of great significance to enable more primary and secondary school students to participate in the ice and snow sports and make our country become a powerful country in the ice and snow sports.Through field investigation,expert interviews,questionnaires and other research methods,this paper investigates the current situation of "ice and snow sports into the campus of primary and secondary school students in Haidian District,Beijing" and draws the following conclusions:1.There are 31 primary and secondary schools carrying out ice and snow sports in Beijing,and there are 15 kinds of ice and snow activities.2.The resources of ice and snow resorts in Beijing are very rich,including 22 indoor large-scale skating rinks,13 outdoor natural ice rinks and ski resorts,mainly concentrated in the core areas of the city.3.The proportion of boys participating in ice and snow sports(79.2%)is higher than that of girls(62.2%).And the proportion of boys participating in ice and snow sports increases with age.The main reasons are: heavy learning tasks(43.1%),low interest(23.6%)and lack of professional guidance(9.7%).4.primary and secondary school students participate in ice and snow sports less time,most students can only participate in 1-2 ice and snow sports every week.5,There are many kinds of ice snow sports for primary school students.There are various kinds of skating and national sports.The participation rate of primary and secondary school students is the most skiing,boys are more involved in ice hockey,skiing,girls prefer to choose speed skating in ice sports.6.The number of PE teachers under the age of 40 in primary and secondary schools in Haidian District of Beijing is the largest(66.7%).67.7% of them are undergraduate or above,but they have less practical experience in teaching and training,especially in ice and snow majors.7.The students’ parents’ support for ice and snow sports is 33.3%,and the overall level is low.The reason for supporting students to participate in ice and snow sports is to make their children strengthen their physique and temper their will,but the academic achievement is the most important.8.Weixin and Weibo are important ways to publicize ice and snow sports.Most primary and middle school students take part in sports because they like this sport and can strengthen their physique.
