Objective:A questionnaire survey is designed to measure the conscience development of left-behind junior middle school students in rural areas,and to understand and analyze their conscience characteristics.The program of conscience intervention was used to improve the conscience of some left-behind junior middle school students in rural areas with low conscience level.Methods:This study is divided into two parts,The first one investigate four rural primary schools in hengyang city by using questionnaire of<adolescents conscience scale>.A total of 1010 questionnaires were distributed,718 questionnaires were effective,the questionnaires of 511 rural left-behind junior middle school students were selected.In the second study,group intervention program was adopted to conduct conscience intervention for some rural left-behind junior middle school students.Results:(1)The level of conscience of left-behind junior middle school students in rural areas is relatively moderate.The scores of shame,gratitude and compassion were higher.(2)In terms of gender,female students in rural left-behind middle school students scored significantly higher than male students in forgiveness filial piety,responsibility,gratitude and compassion;As to whether one child,Non-only children scores significantly higher than that of only children in forgiving heart,filial piety,sincere faith,sense of responsibility and grateful heart;In different grades,there are significant differences in shame,forgiveness,filial piety and honesty;In the degree of parents' culture there is a significant difference in the degree of father's culture;In terms of stay time at home,there are significant differences in shame,filial piety and right and wrong conscience;There is no difference in the object of monitoring;There was no significant differences between the experimental group and the control group before the intervention.(3)There was no significant difference in conscience level of control group.There was big differences in the experimental group.Conclusion:(1)In general,the overall conscience of left-behind junior middle school students in rural areas is better.(2)The conscience development of rural left-behind junior middle school students has differences in gender,whether they are only children,grade,father's education level and stay time.(3)There are differences between left-behind and non-left-behind among rural middle school students.(4)Group intervention can effectively improve the conscience of left-behind junior middle school students in rural areas.
