In recent years,the students of the tour guides often feel “incapable” in their work positions.They are characterized by the difficulty of communicating with tourists,introducing the phenomenon of “poor words” or cumbersome content and unclear details of tourist attractions,which often cause dissatisfaction with tourists.Complaints,for a long time,lost the confidence and enthusiasm of the guide when they first entered the job.Coupled with the gradual hunger for a higher quality travel experience,not only hope to get the satisfaction of the vision on the road,but also to appreciate the local cultural heritage and improve personal cultivation.From this point of view,it is imperative to improve the working ability of the secondary vocational tour students.To this end,the author conducts surveys on tourism enterprises,tour guide students and tour guide teachers,fully understands the current situation of on-the-job guides and students' oral communication skills,as well as teachers' oral communication teaching status,and provides oral communication for secondary vocational guide students.Ability to propose effective training methods.The paper is mainly composed of four parts:The first part,the introduction part.It mainly expounds the research background,research significance and objectives,theoretical basis,concept definition,domestic research status and research methods.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the employment needs of the oral communication students.From the perspective of tour guides,this paper investigates the current situation of oral communicative competence,understands the main problems of its existence,and provides reference for the professional needs of tour guide students in oral communication skills.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of oral communication skills of vocational tour guide students.Firstly,from the perspective of students,the current situation and problem analysis of the oral communication ability of tour guide students are found.It is found that the students of tour guides generally have the habit of not using Mandarin,and the responsiveness needs to be strengthened.Secondly,the current situation of oral communication teaching is carried out.Analysis of the problem,the conclusion is that the current oral communication teaching has problems such as the use of Putonghua teaching has not been popularized,and the thinking time reserved by teachers for asking questions is too short.The fourth part is about the countermeasures for the oral communication ability of the middle-level tour guide students.Firstly,from the perspective of students,the methods of training oral communication skills are proposed,including strengthening Mandarin training,strengthening psychological quality training,strengthening thinking ability training,and strengthening oral expression training.From the perspective of teachers,it is necessary to change the educational concept,meet the employment needs,and apply a variety of oral teaching methods.The innovation of this research is to understand the employment needs of the oral communication ability of the middle-level tour guide students through the analysis of the current situation of the oral communication ability of the tour guides,and to cultivate the students' oral communication ability.
