In recent years,more and more educators begin to pay attention to the field of teacher knowledge.Mathematics knowledge is of great importance to mathematics teachers.It is directly related to the effect of students' learning and is necessary to ensure the quality of teaching.With the deepening of curriculum reform,the requirements for teachers' knowledge of subject become higher and higher.Under the requirements of the new curriculum reform,probability and statistics have long been an important part of mathematics curriculum in primary and middle schools,and have been regarded as a necessary common sense for a future citizen.The newly revised Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017 Edition)has added a lot of new contents,among which probability and statistics are undoubtedly the biggest changes,and this part of the content is also the most difficult for teachers to grasp in teaching.So,how does the current senior high school mathematics teacher grasp this part of the knowledge? What are the effects of teachers' knowledge mastery on students' learning? These are the two core issues to be explored in this paper.On the basis of consulting a large number of relevant documents,the author makes a detailed analysis and research on the related theories such as knowledge,probability and statistics discipline knowledge and so on.Through the method of questionnaire investigation and interview,this paper investigates the probability of mathematics teachers in senior high school and the reserve of knowledge of statistics in the three dimensions of correctness,explanation and relevance,taking high school mathematics teachers as the object of study.Based on the questionnaire of teachers,this paper investigates the probability and statistical knowledge of senior high school students in order to analyze the influence of teachers' knowledge reserve on students.The results show that:(1)the knowledge reserve of probability and statistics of teachers is short of breadth and depth.(2)the reserve of knowledge of probability and statistics of teachers has a certain effect on students.(3)Teachers need to improve their understanding of new curriculum standards.According to the results of the investigation,the paper gives some suggestions on how to improve the probability and statistical knowledge reserve of senior high school mathematics teachers from four aspects: teachers themselves,schools,teacher training and higher normal colleges.
