Along with the developing of the research of teacher’s professionalization, a section of teacher’s professional development, which is becoming the research of teachers’ professional knowledge is also becoming an important field of education and teaching research.As the2011-st version of the new curriculum standard has been issued and the development of new curriculum reform, the quality of primary school education is attracting more and more attention.The first stage of compulsory education is primary school education which is also the foundation of the whole civil education system. The quality of primary school education directly affects the other parts of our compulsory education.Therefore, this research for The students who major in mathematics education in the college of five year system is to select the knowledge points of probability and statistics in primary school to do the test and analysis in four aspects.The results of test and analysis directly show that;1. Generally speaking,The students who major in mathematics education in the college of five year system did’t get a good result in the test about knowledge of elementary probability and statistics.2. The five-year students of mathematics education major of elementary school mathematics knowledge to comprehend condition probability and statistics is not along with the increase of grade. Overall, the test scores of knowledge of probability and statistics in elementary school,graduating class(Grade 4 and Grade 5) scored higher than other year.3. The directional-cultivating students get a higher score than that of nondirectional-cultivating students at nearly 30%, it indicates that the directional-cultivating students comprehend this professional subject better than non- directional-cultivating students.4. In teachers’ college, professional course is the most important knowledge source of probability and statistics for the five-year students of mathematics education major in elementary school’ maths.Finally, according to the results of this study, the author summarizes the reason why this kind of students didn’t comprehend the subject of probability and statistics well,then gives some suggestions about how to improve the teaching and studying the subject of probability and statistics in elementary school,especially how to comprehend the kowledge points of this subject.
