After a long period of baptism and testing,classics condense the crystallization of excellent human culture and ideas.Reading classics is one of the important ways for contemporary Chinese to improve their overall quality,enrich their spiritual world and seek their spiritual habitat.It is also an important way for junior high school students to develop their humanistic feelings and improve their core literacy of Chinese.The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition)has also put forward relevant teaching objectives and requirements for reading classics.In view of various reasons,we know that the teaching of "guided reading of famous works" is an indispensable part of Chinese teaching in middle schools.However,through the actual questionnaire survey,we find that teachers and students have not paid enough attention to the teaching of "masterpiece guidance".Teachers' reading is not deep enough,their motivation is not pure enough,the way of guidance is not scientific enough;students' interest in reading is not enough,the process of reading is not ideal enough,and their reading thinking is not flexible enough.In order to solve the problems,this paper is based on the theory of horizon of expectation,and provides corresponding solutions for the problems existing in the current teaching of "masterpiece guidance" in junior middle school: teachers should use the direction of expectation to strengthen the depth of reading masterpieces;pursue innovative expectations to enhance the comprehensive quality of students;create the situation of expectation to create a "field" of masterpiece guidance;understand reading expectations and stimulate students.Interest;Attention to expectation differences,teaching reading methods;Skillfully use "blank" to generate reading inquiry.These strategies will combine the theory of horizon of expectation with the teaching of "masterpiece guidance" in junior high school,which will help teachers pay attention to students' subjectivity,respect students' unique experience,encourage students to read in depth and innovate expectations,thus shorten and overcome the aesthetic distance with masterpieces,and stimulate students' reading inquiry ability.Finally,this paper takes Journey to the West as an example,through specific and sensible examples,to enable readers to have a deeper understanding of the operation and application of the theory of horizon of expectation in the teaching of "masterpiece guidance" in junior high school.The theory of horizon of expectation can provide some ideas and methods for the teaching of "masterpiece guidance" in junior middle school,but if we want to play a real role in the actual teaching,we need close cooperation and flexible application between teachers and students.
