In recent years,although the country is committed to reducing the educational gap between urban and rural areas,the gap in school education between urban and rural areas still exists under the realistic influence of the economy,which leads to the acceleration and an increasing proportion of teacher flowing.Flowing teachers refer to the group of teachers who move from rural schools to urban schools within the education system and need to mobilize personnel files in the process of mobility.Studies show that most teachers find it difficult to adapt to the working environment after moving to the new school for a long time.This inadaptability not only reduces their enthusiasm but also promotes the second flow of teachers,which is more prominent in the rural flowing teachers in the process of floating.Therefore,studying on the working adaptability of flowing teachers in rural areas has a great significance to the quality improvement of basic education in China.This paper takes three flowing teachers of S and M schools in T City as study object and applies the narrative research method to analyze the adaptability and influencing factors on the work in four aspects like school environment,teaching activities,interpersonal communication and school management.The conclusion is as following: the overall adaptation level of rural migrant teachers is not high.In the process of adaptation,there are always some factors that affect the adaptation of rural flowing teachers and the main factors that influence rural flowing teachers' adaptation are: the teachers' personal professional cognition,the working environment,the school management system.Therefore,in order to make the rural flowing teachers better adapt to the new schools,this paper,on the basis of the analysis of reasons,puts forward some strategies and suggestions from the perspective of government,schools and teachers for promoting the rural flowing teachers' adaptation to the work of urban schools and improve the adaptability of work as well as the efficiency of teaching.Meanwhile,this paper expects to provide some assistance and guidance to the confused rural flowing teachers and rural teachers who want to move to the city school in the future.
