Professional interest and Professional Identity will affect students' enthusiasm for learning,and learning enthusiasm will affect students' investment in learning.Student Engagement and Academic achievement are indicators to measure student learning outcomes and teaching quality.At present,there have been studies of professional recognition,Student Engagement,and Academic Achievement of college students at home and abroad.The research results are different due to differences students.This study has not yet involved private higher vocational students in this group,while the private higher vocational students have some practical problems in Professional Identity,Student Engagement and Academic Achievement,which have certain research value.There has been a study of the relationship between Professional Identity and Student Engagement,Student Engagement and Academic Achievement,but there is no study of the relationship between the three.The purpose of this study is to understand the current status of professional identification,Student Engagement and Academic Achievement of students in private vocational colleges and the interrelationships among them.This article aims at improving the quality of education in private higher vocational colleges and improving the learning quality of private vocational college students.It is based on Boraden-and-bulid theory,Quality of Effoer theory,Input theory,Social Cognitive theory.Use mature Professional Identity scales,Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-Student,and Academic Achievement Scales.A questionnaire survey was conducted on students from a private vocational college in Hunan,and 406 valid questionnaires were retrieved.Descriptive statistical analysis correlation analysis,multiple regression analysis,and mediation tests were performed on the collected data using spss24.0.The study found that:(1)The private professional students' professional identity,Student Engagement,and academic achievement are all at a low level and there are differences in the demographic characteristics.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between the degree of Professional Identity and Student Engagement of private vocational students.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between Student Engagement and Academic Achievement of private vocational students.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between Professional Identity and Academic Achievement of private vocational students.(5)The Student Engagement of private vocational college students plays an intermediary role between Professional Identity and Academic Achievement.Conduct in-depth interviews and explore the reasons.To put forward proposals from the aspects of cultivating students' professional recognition,increasing students'investment in learning,improving the professional level of schools,improving the conditions for running schools,strengthening government supervision,etc.
