Private kindergartens are important parts of early childhood education.According to statistics,there are 146,400 private kindergartens in 2015.Private kindergartens have developed from supplement of public kindergartens into an important force to promote the development of early childhood education.The quality of kindergarten teachers is the key to the quality of early childhood education.This study focuses on the current situation and influencing factors of the professional quality of private kindergartens.By using multiple research methods,such as literature review,questionnaire survey and interview,300 teachers from three private kindergartens in W city were selected as the objects of the survey.The survey was conducted through questionnaires and interviews.By analyzing the current situation and influencing factors of the development of private kindergarten teachers’ professional quality,this paper puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures for the development of private kindergarten teachers’ professional quality.This study is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction.The origin and purpose of the study are described,and the related concepts are defined.This paper reviews the literature on kindergarten teachers’ professional quality and the research of private kindergarten teachers,and introduces the research methods and design of this research.The second part is the current situation of the professional concept,ethics,professional knowledge and professional ability of W citizen-run kindergarten teachers.The third part is the difference analysis of the professional quality of W citizen-run kindergarten teachers.The fourth part is the existing problems and reasons of the professional quality of W citizen-run kindergarten teachers.The existing problems are as follows: the overall development level of professional quality is not high;the level of professional concept and teacher ethics needs to be improved;the professional knowledge is not balanced;and the professional ability is well developed.Factors influencing the professional quality of kindergarten teachers include the influence of social and cultural concepts,laws and policies,government management,training system,internal management of private kindergartens,and kindergarten teachers themselves.The fifth part is the strategies to improve the professional quality of teachers in private kindergartens.First,improve the mechanism and strengthen the training,including accelerating the legislation of early childhood education and strengthening the training of private kindergarten teachers;Second,improve the scientific management of private kindergartens,including establishing correct ideas and concepts,improving the management level,strictly controlling teachers’ access,implementing humanized management,paying attention to the professional development of kindergarten teachers,and reasonably evaluating the work of kindergarten teachers;Thirdly,private kindergarten teachers should develop themselves consciously,including enhancing the awareness of professional development and carrying out reflective teaching.
