The on-the-job training of kindergarten teachers is an important part of their professional development.It is of great significance to the professional development of kindergarten teachers to compare the current situation of teachers in public kindergartens and private kindergartens participating in on-the-job training.This research uses archive,questionnaire,and interview methods to investigate the situation of 433 kindergarten teachers(278 teachers in public kindergartens and 155 teachers in private kindergartens)participating in on-the-job training.The study found that(1)The on-the-job training of teachers in public and private kindergartens are generally at a relatively high level,and the grade of kindergartens,teachers’ teaching years,and professional titles have no significant impact on the on-the-job training of teachers in public kindergartens.The grade of kindergartens has a significant impact on the overall and various dimensions of the on-the-job training of teachers in private kindergartens;(2)There is no significant difference in the overall on-the-job training of teachers in public and private kindergartens.Although it is at a relatively good level,there are still many problems,and there is still room for improvement;There are significant differences in the dimensions of training content between public and private kindergarten teachers;in the grade grouping of kindergartens,there are significant differences in the overall and evaluation dimensions of on-the-job training for public and private kindergarten teachers whose kindergartens are model kindergartens,and there is an extremely significant difference in the purpose dimension.In the group of teaching years,there is no significant difference in the on-the-job training of public and private kindergarten teachers;in the group of professional titles,there are significant differences in the overall and content dimensions of the on-the-job training of public and private kindergarten teachers with professional titles.According to the study,the researchers suggest:(1)Increase investment in free training for teachers in private kindergartens;(2)The training organizers need to better survey the demand of teachers and improve the pertinence of training content;(3)When sending teachers out for training,uphold the principles of fairness and justice. |
