In recent years,some minors in primary and secondary schools(especially in junior high school)have serious bad behavior,such as truancy,fighting,forcibly asking others for money and goods,stealing,gambling,drug abuse,etc.If these bad acts are not corrected in time,they will easily lead to criminal acts.In the autumn of2016,according to the requirement of the Ministry of Education,it is timely to open the course "Morality and Rule of Law" in primary and secondary schools in China.The newly opened course "Morality and Rule of Law" has lasted for more than two years.What is its effect? How to improve the awareness of "knowing,abiding by and understanding the law" in the future through this course is of universal concern.With these doubts,the author investigates and analyses the current situation of junior middle school students’ legal education in three schools in Changchun on the platform of "Morality and Rule of Law" course in junior middle school,and interviews the teaching teachers at the same time.In the investigation,the author understands that although some achievements have been made in the rule of law education for junior high school students,there are still some problems in the newly opened course "Morality and Rule of Law".Junior high school students are in adolescence.They have the shortcomings of weak self-control and easy to be disturbed by the outside world.If they do not have a strong sense of the rule of law and a clear sense of right and wrong,they are prone to go out of their way and commit crimes such as campus bullying and theft.Therefore,the course of "Morality and Rule of Law" shoulders the important responsibility of improving students’ awareness of the rule of law and Popularizing Legal knowledge.It also shoulders the mission of restraining students’ bad behavior.The quality of theimplementation of rule of law education directly affects the overall quality of juveniles’ rule of law.This paper is divided into four parts: The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background of the problem,the significance of the study,the definition of the concept,the related research at home and abroad and the research methods.The second part briefly describes the research object,research content,research process and a brief analysis of the survey results.The third part,based on the analysis of the survey results,finds out the existing problems of the rule of law education in the course of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior middle school,mainly including the lack of rich teaching content,single teaching method,weak teachers and insufficient attention from family schools.The fourth part puts forward the corresponding countermeasures,mainly including enriching the teaching content,improving teaching methods,enhancing the teaching staff and forming a joint effort of family schools to promote the implementation of the rule of law education for junior high school students.
