As a key course for cultivating morality and talent in junior high school,providing students with core and basic legal knowledge can further improve their core literacy and enhance their concept of the rule of law.It is the main battlefield and channel for middle school students’ legal education.The Party and the government attach great importance to the rule of law education for the youth group in China.Although the rule of law education for middle school students has made significant progress,there are still practical problems such as weak targeting and effectiveness.New ways and means of rule of law education need to be explored.In literature research and teaching practice,the author found that there is a theoretical and practical basis for the integration of film and television dramas with the rule of law education for young people.In terms of form,film and television dramas can broaden the classroom space for middle school rule of law education,and in terms of content,film and television dramas can enrich the knowledge of the middle school "Morality and Rule of Law" course textbook.In terms of the starting point of life and the destination of value output,film and television dramas and rule of law education also tend to be consistent,and the integration can broaden students’ perspective on the rule of law,Deepening understanding and expression,cultivating students’ aesthetic awareness,and integrating can promote interaction in the rule of law classroom,activate teacher-student relationships,update the teaching methods of rule of law,and enable students to perceive the temperature of rule of law education.This can effectively improve the shortcomings of unclear goals,tailored content,and single methods of rule of law education in the middle school "Morality and Rule of Law" course.The integration of film and television dramas with the rule of law education in the middle school course "Morality and Rule of Law" is a beneficial attempt to fully leverage the school’s leading role in rule of law education for middle school students and closely cooperate with society,broaden educational channels,and innovate educational methods.This article explores the specific implementation path of the integration of film,television,and middle school students’ legal education through teaching practice.It proposes that the integration should follow the principles of typicality,inspiration,and modernity,and explores the integration strategy from four aspects:integration timing,integration methods,integration element relationships,and integration supporting measures.Through a micro case study,it demonstrates how to integrate film and television dramas with rule of law education in the actual teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high school,further improving the effectiveness of rule of law education,helping middle school students establish an understanding of the rule of law,construct a rule of law concept,apply rule of law thinking and practice,and establish a belief in the rule of law.
