Teachers' becoming researchers is an important way to promote teachers' professional development.Teachers' work is endowed with vitality and dignity on the basis of closely linking educational theory and practice.Teaching research by middle school chemistry teachers is not only conducive to improving teaching practice,but also the need for the development of chemistry curriculum.Therefore,middle school chemistry teachers should attach importance to the development of teaching and research activities,and constantly improve their teaching research ability.On the basis of reviewing the existing research results,this paper constructs a theoretical framework of middle school chemistry teachers' teaching research ability with action research methods,and conducts empirical research by compiling questionnaires according to the content of indicators,through the analysis of the survey results,this paper aims to provide effective and feasible suggestions for middle school chemistry teachers,especially middle school chemistry teachers,to carry out teaching research.There are nine parts in this paper:(1)This paper expounds the significance of topic selection.(2)This paper summarizes the research on the composition of teaching research ability and the current situation of teaching and research of middle school chemistry and teachers of different disciplines.(3)Explain the research objectives,tasks and methods(4)The theoretical basis of the research: The action research in educational research methods,the teaching research of teachers and the characteristics of chemistry are summarized.(5)The theoretical framework of middle school chemistry teachers' teaching research ability is constructed,including the ability to determine teaching research questions,the ability to implement teaching research plans,and the ability to express and evaluate teaching research results.(6)According to the theoretical framework,the Questionnaire on Teaching research ability of Chemistry Teachers in middle Schools was compiled,and the questionnaire was revised and tested with statistical software SPSS and AMOS.On this basis,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were analyzed,guarantee the scientificity and validity of the questionnaire.(7)Empirical research was carried out by using questionnaires,and data were collected to analyze the current situation of teacher research,including:At present,the overall situation of middle school chemistry teachers' teaching research ability its differences in gender,teaching age and professional titles.This paper investigates the teaching and research methods of chemistry teachers' inclination in middle schools and the sources of research problems,as well as their views and suggestions on teaching and research.(8)Research conclusions and suggestions: Summarize the results of theoretical framework research and empirical survey and put forward suggestions from the internal and external factors that affect the teaching research of middle school chemistry teachers.(9)Problems and Prospects: The existing problems in the research process and the direction of future efforts are analyzed.
