In 2016,China released the research results on the development of core literacy of Chinese students in Beijing.In early 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the " Biology Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)",Which sets the guiding principle for China's biology curriculum reform and the overall teaching objective : applying the core literacy of biology in the in-class teaching.Biology curriculum design consists with the international science education reform and emphasizes the connection with real life.Living biology teaching is more conducive to the development of students' core literacy in biology.The author systematically analyzed the current situation of domestic life-oriented teaching development through the method of literature research.Based on reading a large number of literature and referring to numerous teaching designs,guided by Dewey's education namely life theory,Tao Xingzhi's life education theory and constructivism learning theory,the author proposed appropriate teaching strategies according to different contents by analyzing the knowledge points related to life-oriented in the PEP senior high school biology teaching materials,and designed the teaching in chapters 4,5 and 6 of senior high school biology compulsory one.Based on this,the author carried out teaching practice,which provided some help for senior high school biology teaching.Before practice,the core literacy questionnaire and academic performance of the experimental class and the control class were compared and analyzed,and it was determined that the experimental class and the control class were two parallel classes.After practice,comparative analysis of the core literacy questionnaire,academic performance and interviews with individual students in the experimental class and the control class,the teaching practice results show that high school biology life-oriented teaching based on core literacy can cultivate students' core literacy of biology subject to a certain extent,has a positive impact on students' academic performance,can improve students' interest in learning biology,and also has a positive impact on students' life.However,there are still some limitations in this study.Due to the limited internship time,the design practice of high school biology life-oriented teaching based on core literacy has only been implemented for half a semester.The cultivation of biological core literacy is along-term process and requires continuous practical research and cultivation in future teaching.In addition,the problems in this study and the opinions and suggestions put forward in the student interviews can shed some light on the author's future research.
