The newly enacted Standards for Senior High School Biology Curriculum(2017 Edition)is based on the characteristics of the Department of Biology,with the aim of developing the core literacy of students,selecting course content,focusing on the practicality of the teaching process.The aim is to promote students' study and development better."Pleasure Education Thought" is a science education theory put forward by British educational theorist and practitioner Herbert Spencer.This thought advocates that interest is the biggest motivation for learning,advocating that students should develop self-help education ability and discover knowledge through their own observation,operation and thinking,so as to learn happily.Because of the lack of happy education in examination-oriented education,Spencer's "Pleasure Education Thought" is used to guide the middle school biology teaching practice,and the middle school biology teaching design based on Spencer's "Pleasure Education Thought" is carried out.The purpose of the teaching design is to create a pleasant learning atmosphere for students and stimulating students' interest in learning,which can promote the comprehensive development of students' physical and mental health while improving the teaching effect.This paper uses literature research,interviews and questionnaires to conduct research.The main contents are as follows: Firstly,the background,theoretical basis and content of Spencer's "Pleasure Education Thought" are studied systematically.Secondly,on the basis of Spencer's "Pleasure Education Thought" and the theory of middle school biology teaching design,starting from the analysis of the basic elements of teaching design,the basic process framework of middle school biology teaching design is determined.Then,according to the above analysis,in the teaching of middle school biology,Spencer's "Pleasure Education Thought" is used for teaching design,and the teaching design cases of three common class types of new teaching,review class and experimental course are designed.Finally,the middle school biology teaching design case is applied to the middle school biology teaching practice,and the effect of the teaching design case is evaluated from three aspects: teachers,students and peers,and after the evaluation is completed,according to various opinions and suggestions to revise,improve,make a summary and reflection.In short,the middle school biology teaching design based on Spencer's "Pleasure Education Thought" can stimulate students' interest in learning,enable students can cultivate their self-service education ability in a happy learning atmosphere,not only to promote teaching practice and improving teaching effects,but also promote the overall development of students.
