Because narrative ability is an important part of preschool children's language development,kindergartens in urban and rural areas lack attention to preschool children's narrative ability.Picture book reading is an important way to realize the development of preschool children's narrative ability.Therefore,this study intends to explore the development status and influencing factors of narrative ability of children aged 5-6 in kindergartens in urban and rural areas through the way of reading.This study uses narrative test to analyze the development of narrative ability of 60 children aged 5-6 years in kindergartens in urban and rural areas.Interview method is used to analyze the kindergarten factors of 2 kindergarten directors and 4 teachers in urban and rural areas.The influence of children's narrative ability of 5-6 years old was analyzed by questionnaire survey method to understand the basic situation of family and parent-child reading of 57 parents of kindergartens in urban and rural areas.The influence of family factors on children's narrative ability of 5-6 years old was analyzed.This study draws the following conclusions:1.The narrative ability of children aged 5-6 years is generally in the middle and low level;2.There is little difference in the narrative ability between migrant children aged5-6 and local children;3.gender factors Children's narrative ability of 5-6 years old has a significant impact,girls' narrative ability is significantly stronger than boys;4.The experience of reading and reading teaching activities has a significant impact on the narrative ability of children aged 5-6,and experienced children are stronger than inexperienced children;5.the number of children's books and parent-child reading methods have nosignificant impact on the narrative ability of children aged 5-6;6.The narrative ability of children aged 5-6 years is influenced by the mother's education in performance.According to the above research conclusions,the managers,kindergarten teachers and parents of kindergartens in the urban-rural integration department have proposed some suggestions to improve the narrative ability of children aged 5-6.First,making the following suggestions to the kindergarten administrators:strengthen the emphasis on the reading of the picture book,establish the concept of scientific reading of the picture book,improve the teaching level of the teacher to carry out the reading teaching activities of the picture book,provide appropriate reading areas for children and put a certain high Quality picture book;strengthen the guidance for parents in the reading of picture books.Secondly,the following suggestions are proposed to the kindergarten teachers:actively learn the professional knowledge of the picture book,enhance their self-knowledge and ability in the picture book and picture book teaching;select and put the picture book according to the development characteristics of the child;in the picture book reading teaching activities,do the observer And supporters;pay attention to the differences in narrative abilities between boys and girls,consciously pay attention to boys in the reading and reading activities;mobilize the power of parents,and create a better environment for children to read books.Thirdly,making the following suggestions to parents: improving their self-cultivation and knowledge as possible;cooperating with kindergartens and teachers,and actively carry out parent-child reading at home.
