Talent cultivation is one of the five major functions of colleges and universities,and it is the top priority of China's"double first-class"university construction work.This study is based on the thinking of the talent training model in the construction of "double first-class" in China,and aims to explore how to fill the gap in the cultivation of undergraduates' competency in the current talent training.Taking Yunnan undergraduates as an example,some reference suggestions for undergraduate students' competency training reform are given from the perspective of competency-based education.Based on the purpose of this research,the author has combed the relevant literature on competency-based education at home and abroad,and based on the five capabilities required by the Lumina Foundation to obtain degree qualifications,the research theory is constructed.The questionnaire on undergraduate student satisfaction in yunnan province"was prepared.From the perspective of undergraduate self-evaluation,the survey was conducted in 8 undergraduate colleges in Yunnan Province.A total of 350 valid samples were collected.The data were analyzed by SPSS software.Text analysis of the talent training objectives of 30 undergraduate colleges in Yunnan Province was conducted.The author uses the mean interval estimation method to study the satisfaction status of undergraduate students' competency in different levels,different types and different regions in Yunnan Province.Combines the text analysis of talent training objectives of 30 undergraduate colleges in Yunnan Province to explore whether the training objectives is suitable for the competency characteristics of undergraduates and finds problems in undergraduate competency cultivation.The results show that:First,The satisfaction degree of undergraduates is the highest in "double-class"universities,followed by provincial key universities,and the lowest in general universities.Second,multiple competency training doesn't achieve the"target-process-result"consistency.Third,the characteristics of students in application-oriented undergraduate pilot colleges and universities are not distinctive.Fourth,the development of undergraduate students' competency development between provincial capitals and local colleges is not balanced.From the perspective of competency-based education,the author puts forward four suggestions for the undergraduate students' competency training reform.First,the competency training needs to be student-centered.Second,the"Internet plus competency education"is a break:through.Third,through the school-enterprise cooperation to improve the competency of undergraduate training.Fourth,build a special undergraduate competency training system.This study reveals to some extent the current lack of undergraduate competency training in undergraduate talent training and the low level of undergraduate students'satisfaction with their own competency.It is worthy of thinking about students,universities,government and society.At the same time,this study puts forward some reforms for the competency training of students in colleges and universities.Refer to the recommendations to find some valuable ways to improve the competency of undergraduates.
