Education is the inheritance and development of culture and is the foundation of the country.With the fierce competition in the global commercial trade,the phenomenon of education popularization in China has also received increasing attention.China’s traditional significance is the exporting country of students,and it is now becoming a popular study abroad country for international students.In order to meet the requirements of the times,the establishment of an open and cooperative higher education system and the development of cross-border higher education are not only important strategies for improving the quality of education,promoting economic progress and national development in China and even in the world.Currently,the most important area of internationalization of higher education is cross-border education.Cross-border education has become a topic of great importance to all countries in the world because of its vitality and great development potential.It is an important part of the internationalization of higher education.In the wave of increasing globalization,the number of people studying in China or studying in China is increasing.For colleges and universities,it is a rare opportunity for development and faces severe challenges and requirements for improving the quality of education.China is the preferred destination for students studying in Kazakhstan.The number of people who come to China to receive higher education in China is growing every year.What is their perception of the image of higher education in China? This paper analyzes the image of higher education in China by using questionnaires,in-depth interviews,and access to literature,including government documents and internal reports of local universities,for Kazakh students studying in Wuhan,China.In order to make a comprehensive discussion,the questions involved in the questionnaire are related to education and learning.For example,the level of education before coming to China,the channels for obtaining information on Chinese education,the reasons for studying in China,the source of funds for studying abroad,What level of education is accepted in China,the majors studied at Chinese universities,the prestige of the university,the state of the university’s infrastructure and teaching facilities,the professional level of university teachers,and the careersexpected to be pursued in the future.The study concluded that,first,the image recognition and evaluation of the general characteristics of colleges and universities: 1Chinese colleges and universities have a certain tendency to apply for foreign students,especially those in the “ Belt and Road” countries,in terms of enrollment and scholarship provision.Sex.2 International students can choose a wide range of majors.3 The infrastructure and supporting facilities of the university are complete,and the conditions for accommodation and living for foreign students are better established for foreign students.4 Chinese colleges and universities and related authorities and departments have obviously lacked information on the recruitment of international students,whether it is information or promotion.Second,as far as the image of the teaching staff in the higher education system is concerned: 1 The teaching staff of the university have a high level of professionalism and excellent professionalism.In class2,students are treated with kindness and friendliness,but they are less indifferent after class.3 The requirements for foreign students are low,and the requirements for domestic students are high.4 The teaching process is not well organized,and the teaching is relatively rigid.It pays less attention to practice and pays more attention to theory.5 There are few teachers who can use foreign language teaching,and almost all teach in Chinese.Improving the image of education means achieving the national goal of technological innovation,enhancing independent creativity and improving economic competitiveness by establishing world-class universities.In this qualitative case study,the purpose of this paper is to show how Kazakhstan students can understand and evaluate Chinese higher education by means of the perspective of Kazakhstan students studying in China,and analyze the students’ views and government policies to analyze the interpretation of students in Kazakhstan.The status quo,characteristics,advantages and problems in the Chinese higher education system,which will be corrected and improved for foreign students,the Chinese government and Chinese universities,and will help improve the quality of education for students in Kazakhstan during their studies in China and for China.Colleges and universities attract more foreign students,including Kazakhstan,to provide certain ideas,suggestions and countermeasures.
