| Education keeps pace with the times.The reform of basic education,from two basics(basic knowledge and basic skill),to the three-dimensional goal,and to the core literacy,has given expression to the increasing attention given to students’ comprehensive literacy.Chinese,as a basic subject,plays an important role in cultivating students’ comprehensive literacy.Discontinuous text,a new type of text that cultivates and reflects students’ comprehensive reading literacy has an indispensable importance and status in language learning.In 2009,with the introduction of PISA Test in Shanghai,China,the discontinuous text begins to attract everyone’s attention,and is brought into the curriculum standard in the third and fourth learning stage.Discontinuous text,a new form of text,also has a place in reading ability training which is of great practicality and objectivity.Acquiring the reading ability of non-continuous texts can help students deepen the study of continuous texts,quickly extract valuable information,improve students’ expressive ability and language generalization ability.This paper mainly takes the questionnaire method and interview method,taking domestic and foreign research results as a reference,making the situation of discontinuous text reading in the third learning stage of Elementary School A,City C as the blueprint and targeting the students and teachers of the third learning stage.Through the analysis of the current situation,the author has summarized the optimized suggestions that help both students and teachers when encountering such texts.Some problems occur in the teaching and learning the discontinuous texts such as students’ poor reading ability and weak reading initiative of the discontinuous texts,teachers’ neglect,and lack of reading literacy for such texts and the small account in the textbooks.In response to the above problems,the author suggests stepping up the learning of the discontinuous texts,actively training the teachers,and developing and utilizing reasonable reading resources.The author hopes that this research will help to push for a smooth implementation of discontinuous texts in teaching students,contribute to the reform of Chinese education in the new era,and help teachers and students to get more inspiration in the teaching and learning such texts. |
