The proposal of non-continuous text is not only a requirement of the PISA reading level test,but also a requirement of the "Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)",and a requirement of lifelong learning and development advocated by modern society.Therefore,discontinuous texts have attracted the attention of Chinese education researchers and frontline teachers.Obtaining the reading ability of discontinuous texts can improve students' comprehensive reading level,help students acquire the ability to extract,process,and integrate information,and improve students' generalization,thinking,innovation and language expression skills.Based on this,this research is based on practice,using relevant research results at home and abroad as a reference,around the reading status of the discontinuous texts in the upper section of B primary school in Baotou City,respectively,surveys are carried out on the unified edition of elementary school Chinese textbooks,students,and teachers.Method and interview method study and analyze the status quo of discontinuous text reading of primary school students as well as the existing problems and reasons,and propose effective strategies to improve this status quo.The author found through investigation that the current unified edition of discontinuous text reading in the upper section of primary schools has problems in three aspects: textbook layout,student learning and teacher teaching.In response to these problems,the author will focus on enhancing teachers' teaching awareness of discontinuous texts,understanding students' reading tendencies,stimulating students' learning motivation,teachers actively constructing reading resources for discontinuous texts,and accurately grasping effective strategies for reading discontinuous texts.,Establish a reasonable discontinuous text reading evaluation system and propose effective improvement strategies in several aspects.It is hoped that this study can provide research ideas for researchers who follow up on the status quo of discontinuous text reading.
