This study is based on the author's practical experience,relying on the Student Mental Health Center of Northwest Minzu University to carry out the practice.From the perspective of social work,this paper combines the theory of superiority perspective with that of poor college students,and uses case work method to help poor college students improve their interpersonal skills under the guidance of the theory of superiority perspective.Through in-depth interviews with P students,the author understands the current situation and causes of P students' interpersonal communication ability.The main problem of P students' interpersonal communication is that the wrong cognition leads to the inferiority of the case owner,shrinks back in interpersonal communication and lacks the experience and skills of interpersonal communication.On the basis of collecting data,the author evaluates the advantages of P students from the personal level and interpersonal level in order to find out the advantages of the case owner himself.Taking this as the breakthrough point,the author intervenes P students from the cognitive,emotional,motivational,coping and interpersonal levels to help P students improve their interpersonal communication ability and achieve the service effect of self-help.First,it evaluates the superiority of the case-holder from the perspective of cognition,promotes the self-understanding of the case-holder,helps the case-holder discover his own superiority,builds self-confidence and faces the interpersonal problems optimistically.Second,on the emotional level,help the case owners to understand their attitudes towards interpersonal communication,help them find their own emotional delicacy,calm and other aspects conducive to interpersonal communication,so that the case owners can accept themselves and better handle interpersonal relationships.Third,on the motivation level,through discussing with the case owner their own interpersonal motivation,digging out the inner thoughts of the case owner,clarifying the case owner's desire to communicate,hoping to change the motivation,at the same time,amending some unreasonable interpersonal motivation of the case owner to help the case owner establish the correct interpersonal motivation.Fourth,at the coping level,through interaction with the case-holder through role-playing and scene reproduction,we can discover the advantages and disadvantages of the case-holder's coping skills,teach the case-holder's interpersonal skills,and make the case-holder confidently and optimistically cope with interpersonal communication.Fifth,at the interpersonal level,discuss with the case-holder the personal characteristics that are conducive to the establishment of interpersonal relationship in interpersonal communication,encourage the case-holder to test the interpersonal skills he learnt in counseling,establish interpersonal support network and improve his interpersonal communication ability in interpersonal communication.Finally,the author evaluates the service effect of P students' interpersonal communication ability improvement in many ways,and summarizes the experience and shortcomings.The author believes that combining the advantage perspective with the interpersonal communication ability of poor college students and carrying out case work can better help the case owners to change and improve their interpersonal communication ability.The author hopes that colleagues in carrying out case work,should pay attention to tapping the advantages of the case owners themselves,starting from the advantages of the case owners,can help the case owners more effectively.
