Since ancient times,problem solving has been a very important part of mathematics learning.Learning to solve problems is an important goal of middle school mathematics,while math reading comprehension problem is an important new problem type of junior middle school mathematics.Junior middle school students have many problems in solving this kind of problem type,and so far the research on solving problems of math reading comprehension is relatively weak.The "how to solve a problem table",the core content of polya's problem solving theory,provides a wide range of practical solving steps and ideas for solving this kind of problems.Therefore,how to solve the problem of reading comprehension in junior middle school by using the theory of solving problems of polya is the problem studied in this paper.A mathematical reading comprehension problem is one in which a new definition,a new theorem,a new proposition,a new calculation process or a new proof and deduction process are given in the material to solve the relevant mathematical problems.This paper uses classroom observation method,test question survey method and interview method to investigate and study the current situation of junior high school students in solving this kind of problems.Through classroom observation method and interview method,it is found that junior high school students have negative attitude to solve mathematical reading comprehension problems,fuzzy thinking and missing solving links.Through the survey of the test questions,it is found that junior high school students have the following problems in solving this type of questions.In the process of planning,the easy mistakes are not good at imitating problem solving,not good at using positive and negative thinking,thinking set;Problems such as imperfect writing process,insufficient calculation ability,omission of constraint conditions,weak basic knowledge and influence of other non-intellectual factors often occur in the implementation of planning.Lack of verification process and results in the review process and lack of transfer problem-solving ability.According to the refined errors and bolya's problem solving theory,the following teaching strategies should be followed in solving mathematical reading comprehension problems.In the stage of comprehension questions: process reproduction strategy(to strengthen the process of students' perception formation),representation conversion strategy(to cultivate students' interest in reading and improve their reading patience,to search for key words from the questions and distinguish their priorities,and to improve their understanding in language conversion);In the planning stage: imitate problem-solving strategy;In the implementation plan stage: the strategy of solving problems,the strategy of cultivating students' computing ability;In the review stage:self-examination habit cultivation strategy,transfer strategy of solving problems.Finally,a teaching case is used to present the specific process of teaching strategy implementation. |
