With the reform of mathematics curriculum standards, math reading has attracted more and more people's attention.Mathematics reading is helpful for students to solve problems,so that students can find the inner relation of mathematics reading, thinking and solving as soon as possible, improve their mathematical ability?Although the new curriculum standard emphasizes the importance of students' reading comprehension, there are still many teachers do not pay attention to it,and students do not have the consciousness to read consciously, which leads to many problems in students' reading comprehension. Therefore, this thesis studies students' math reading comprehension, analyse its difficulty and reason, clarify its importance,in order to provide strong theoretical basis for teachers and reserchers. This thesis mainly discusses the reading comprehension of the fifth grade students' math text problems.Through the methods of literature, questionnaire, interview,in the problem solving process of Mayer as the research framework, prepare the text reading comprehension test, each set of questions consists of four levels, they are "problem translation","problem integration" and "solution planning & monitoring" and "solution execution",in which "problem translation" and "problem integration" mainly test students' reading comprehension ability of mathematical text problems;"solution planning & monitoring" and "solution execution" mainly examine students' problem solving ability for text issues. The fifth grade students of a primary school in nanning city were selected for the test survey. There were 255 subjects and 224 valid questionnaires, among which 84 were top students,75 were medium-ranking students and 65 were poor students. There were 125 boys and 99 girls. The test results are analyzed from the students' actual performance in solving the text problems. After the test, some teachers and 4students were selected, and the interview method and the method of thinking aloud were used to further study the students' problems in reading, analyze the factors affecting the students' math reading comprehension and the causes, and put forward corresponding teaching Suggestions. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Students performed best in "problem translation",followed by "problem integration","solution execution ",and " solution planning & monitoring ".Compared with the overall data, students' math reading comprehension ability was not very high;2.Students with different academic achievements have obvious differences in the performance of math reading comprehension. The better academic achievements' have betterreading comprehension ability, and the reading comprehension ability of the top students was higher than that of the middle school students and the poor students, while that of the middle school students was higher than that of the poor students.3.There is no significant difference in the level of math reading comprehension between male and female students;4.There was a significant correlation between students' reading comprehension ability and their performance in solving mathematical problems;5.There is a significant correlation between students' Chinese and math scores and test scores;6.The main barriers of students' dyslexia include: self-emotion disorder, critical information screening disorder, mathematical language translation disorder, and quantitative relation clearing disorder. The main causes are individual's own influence,no emphasis on math, reading lack of reading training and weak mathematical foundation.
