Education is the foundation of a century's plan,and teachers are the foundation of education.Middle school students are in the stage of not comprehensive physical and mental development,world outlook,outlook on life and values are forming.The words and deeds of middle school teachers will have a significant impact on the growth of middle school students.Therefore,higher requirements are put forward for teachers' morality and style of teaching.In recent years,many middle school teachers have achieved fruitful results in the construction of their moral and teaching style,but news reports about serious mistakes made by individual teachers against their moral and teaching style often appear,which shows that a few middle school teachers' moral and teaching style still needs to be improved.Taking Tongliang B Middle School in Chongqing as an example,this paper probes into the construction of teachers' morality and style in Tongliang B Middle School around eight aspects that constitute the construction of teachers' morality and style in middle school,analyses the problems existing in the construction of teachers' morality and style in Tongliang B Middle School at the present stage and the causes of the problems,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for further strengthening the construction of teachers' morality and style in middle school.Through questionnaires and interviews,this paper makes a thorough investigation on the front-line teachers,administrative leaders,students and parents of Tongliang B Middle School.It is found that the overall effect of the construction of teachers' morality and style in Tongliang B Middle School is better.Most of the leaders and teachers in Tongliang B Middle School have realized the importance of the construction of teachers' morality and style.They can maintain a high level of teachers' morality and style in the process of education and teaching.The school has also formed a good situation in which all departments work together to promote the construction of teachers' morality and style.However,there are still a few teachers who violate teachers' morality and style of teaching,such as lack of dedication,less communication,insufficient awareness of promotion,weak compliance with discipline and law,poor teaching effect,different treatment of students,anomie behavior,strong desire for self-interest and so on.The reasons for the problems of teachers' morality and style in Tongliang B Middle School can be summed up in three aspects: teachers,schools and society.As far as teachers are concerned,a few teachers have relaxed their self-discipline and self-restraint as well as their impetuous teaching mentality;as far as schools are concerned,the rules and regulations of teachers' ethics in schools are not perfect,and the evaluation system of teachers' ethics is not perfect;as far as society is concerned,the orientation of teachers' profession is vague under the background of market economy,and the salary policy of teachers in districts and counties is not in place.In view of the existing problems and reasons,this paper puts forward three countermeasures for the construction of teachers' morality and style,namely,teachers' actions,schools' attention and social construction.Teachers' role is the foundation of the construction of teachers' morality and style.In the process of teaching,teachers should establish the concept of educating people,enhance their professionalism,strengthen self-restraint,improve their accomplishment level,overcome impetuous mentality and improve their teaching ability.School attaches great importance to the construction of teachers' morality and style.Schools should improve rules and regulations,improve the management level of schools,improve evaluation and assessment,guide teachers to be aggressive,enhance supervision vitality,and establish a pluralistic supervision system.Social construction is the environment for the construction of teachers' morality and style.We should create a good atmosphere,help teachers to build morality and style,implement salary policy,and ensure teachers' social status.Finally,the three forces form a joint force to jointly promote the construction of middle school teachers' morality and style of teaching.
