With the increasing attention of the state to special education,special physical education has also attracted more and more attention.The overall quality of special physical education teachers affects the physical and mental development of disabled students,and is the key to improve the quality of physical education for disabled students.Therefore,how to improve the quality of training special physical education teachers has become one of the important topics of special physical education reform.Based on the needs of the development of special physical education in China,this paper analyses the training mode of special physical education teachers in China and the United States from a comparative perspective,and draws lessons from the training experience of special physical education teachers in the United States in order to improve the training system of special physical education teachers in China.This paper mainly uses the methods of documentation,comparative study,logical analysis,case study and interview to select the American Texas Women's University,East Oregon University,Ohio State University,West Michigan University and Shan dong Institute of Physical Education,Tianjin Institute of Physical Education,Wuhan Institute of Physical Education,Xi'an Institute of Physical Education,Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education,Quan zhou Normal College.With Liaoning Normal University as an example,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the course,institution,goal,specialty setting and enrollment,training mode,curriculum setting and quality assurance of special P.E.teachers in the two countries.Through the research,(1)it is found that the training of special physical education teachers in the United States started earlier,reflecting the characteristics of clear training objectives.(2)diversification of training methods and integration of training levels.(3)specialization of curriculum system.(4)standardization of quality assurance.while the training of special physical education teachers in China started later,(1)with scattered training objectives,unclear subject ownership.(2)single training methods and low training levels.(3)The content is single and emphasizes on the problems of theory.(4)lack of quality assurance system.In view of the problems found above,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Define the training objectives and construct the training objectives system for special physical education teachers.From the aspects of the particularity and teacher-training of special physicaleducation teachers' abilities,theoretical knowledge and skills,breadth and depth,special educational standards for special physical education teachers are formulated.(2)Setting up independent majors,perfecting the enrollment system,increasing policy propaganda and guidance for special physical education majors,adopting diversified enrollment system,and ensuring the quality and quantity of special physical education teachers' training from the source.(3)Widening the cultivation ways,enriching the cultivation methods and improving the cultivation level.We should change the situation of the simplification of four-year professional training,learn from the experience of free teacher training for normal students,and adopt "4 + 1" and "4 + 2" training methods.(4)Optimize the curriculum and build a professional curriculum system.We should strengthen the curriculum of general education,attach importance to the combination of theory and practice,highlight the subjectivity of students,and appropriately increase the curriculum of integrated education.(5)Improving educational practice.Establish the system of admission and admission of educational practice,adopt various forms of educational practice,arrange the time of practice reasonably,expand the content of educational practice,and increase the proportion of practical training.(6)Establishing a quality assurance system and practicing the qualification admission system.We should establish the internal and external quality assurance system for the training of special P.E.teachers under mutual supervision of universities and society,and implement the special P.E.teacher qualification certificate system.
