As a form of entertainment, online games have attracted more and more social attention. How is the possibility of "social organization" occurs in the games? What is the motivation and incentive mechanism for organizational formation? The interweaving and logical relationship between network organization and the real society organization has gradually become the subject of academic research. From the perspective of incentive mechanism,I have deeply analyzed the form of virtual organization incentive mechanism through the network ethnographic survey of two online games:World of Warcraft and Naruto of New Age,and the incentive mechanism in the actual organization.I conducted a comparative study between them,as well. The research finds that:1)From the methodological point of view, the research on virtual organization can also be studied by using the research theory and method of real organization;2)From the consequences of the incentive mechanism, demand is the first priority of content-based incentive theory. The attraction of the online game guild organization is also achieved by meeting the demands of different players;3)from the perspective of the incentive mechanism, the process-based incentive theory focuses on payers’ goals and expectations.Online game guild organization also sets goals and target acquisition channels to attract players;4)Online game associations are different from the real-world organizations. The biggest difference is the relationship between the cadres and the masses. The relationship between the cadres and the masses of the actual organization is very important, but the cadre relationship of the online game guilds is not a significant influencing factor. At the same time, this paper believes that the research results of virtual organizations can provide an explanation for the reality organization to a certain extent, which may further inspire the real-world organization researchers.
