The Influence Of Characteristic Gratitude On Network Altruism Behavior Under Different Emotional Activation

Network altruistic behavior refers to the selfless behavior in the network environment,which is beneficial to others and society(such as support,guidance,sharing,reminder,etc.)And does not seek return.Through the literature review of the influencing factors of Internet altruistic behavior,it is found that previous studies tend to examine the influence of individual traits or external circumstances on Internet altruistic behavior.This study intends to Sichuan Normal University students as the research object,the individual characteristics and external situation of the combination of both,explore its relationship with the network altruistic behavior.In this study,gratitude is regarded as a stable trait of individuals,but also a state of emotion.In the first study,332 college students were investigated with questionnaires to explore the relationship between trait gratitude and Internet altruism.The second study used interviews and questionnaires to collect the story materials of effective emotional priming to investigate the impact of trait gratitude on network altruistic behavior under different emotional priming.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)in the pre-experiment,the collected and compiled situational stories can effectively activate the target emotions of the subjects and have authenticity.(2)the current situation of undergraduates' trait gratitude is good,and there is a significant positive correlation between trait gratitude and Internet altruism.The Internet altruism of undergraduates with high trait gratitude is significantly higher than that of undergraduates with low trait gratitude.(3)there is no interaction between trait gratitude and emotional priming.(4)the main effect of trait gratitude on net altruism is significant.The Internet altruistic behavior of high trait gratitude college students was significantly higher than that of low traitgratitude college students.(5)the main effect of emotional priming on network altruism is significant.Taking the neutral emotion group as the control group,under the three(gratitude,sympathy and neutral)emotional priming conditions,whether high or low trait gratitude,the individual's network altruistic behavior under the priming state of gratitude and sympathy is significantly higher than that under the priming state of neutral emotion.The level of Internet altruistic behavior of college students under gratitude was significantly higher than that under sympathy.
