With the continuous development of science and technology,the era of artificial intelligence has come,and the requirements for students' abilities in the work they are engaged in after graduation will be more strict.Based on the serious international situation,to explore the STEAM(Science,Technology,Engineering,Mathematics,Art)education is the focus in the world,widely agree with STEAM learning mode in the field of education around the world,and become an important national strategy in the field of international education,will promote the development of education in the 21 st century career glory,known as the "cornerstone" of the21 st century skills.This study introduced the STEAM education concept into the biology curriculum of junior high school,designed the biology teaching cases of junior high school from the perspective of STEAM,hoping to make up for the deficiencies in biology teaching of junior high school,give play to the advantages of this discipline,improve students' interest in biology learning,and cultivate students' hands-on ability and problem-solving ability.Add vitality to biology teaching in junior high school,cultivate students' distinct core quality of biology subject,reflect the characteristics of this subject and its educational value.By means of literature research,questionnaire survey and case analysis,this study has made an in-depth analysis and investigation of STEAM education,and studied and analyzed the teaching mode,teaching design and cases under the STEAM education concept.Two cases were designed and implemented in the practical activity class,achieving certain effects.This research consists of three parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research background,research questions,research purpose and significance,research methods,research overview and the elaboration of the innovation of the research.This research solves the problem of what is the concept of STEAM education and studies the integration mode of STEAM education.Then is the concept research,the teaching theory and the teaching pattern analysis.Thispaper mainly differentiates and differentiates STEM education from STEAM education,clarifies the main factors that distinguish STEAM education from STEM education,determines the research direction,conducts in-depth research on the pyramid structure and framework core views of STEAM education,clarifies the core of STEAM education,and analyzes the effectiveness of STEAM teaching and the classification of course teaching methods.There are few cases to integrate STEAM education concept into biology teaching in junior high school.Only a few related cases are referred.The theoretical basis of teaching was sorted out,and an in-depth study of the teaching mode found that the integration mode was too complex and might not be suitable for biological teaching under STEAM education.Finally,the teaching practice and the practice result analysis,as well as the research conclusion and the research forecast.The teaching mode finally determined in this study is the form of practical activities.It is found in practice that STEAM education promotes students' love for biology class,and they prefer such hands-on teaching mode.They will also make works by themselves and consider their values and needs intentionally.The deficiency of the research is pointed out and the prospect of the research is put forward.
