This thesis firstly reviewed the existing literature at home and abroad,compiled the current status of research on the integration of "five education" and biology practical activities at home and abroad,and defined the relevant concepts of this study.Then,we designed a questionnaire for teachers to investigate the current situation of practical biology activities in secondary schools.The results of the survey showed that 77.36% of the schools carried out practical biology activities,which indicated that most teachers valued practical biology activities.However,there are also some problems,such as teachers' lack of understanding of the concept of "five education" integration,difficulties in designing activities,and many problems in carrying out activities,such as insufficient support and class time in schools,and insufficient equipment and resources for practical activities.Based on the results of the questionnaire,we investigated how to design practical activities for junior high school biology with the integration of "five education" from practical applications.We compiled the practical activities in the seventh grade biology textbook,explored the "five education" materials in them,and designed a practical biology activity program called "The Life of Angiosperms",which included four activities: "Twenty-four Seasons and Planting","How Much Do You Know About Campus Plants","Campus Planting Activities",and "Plant Knowledge Competition Relay".The program also designed the characteristics,types and evaluation methods of the practical activities.By presenting the teaching cases of "How much do you know about campus plants" and "Campus planting activities",the program aims to provide reference for other front-line biology teachers and inspire more biology teachers to design and develop practical biology activities that integrate "five education".For the implementation of the activities,two experimental classes(Class 7 and Class 8)of the first grade of Class 2020 of the Affiliated High School of Guangzhou University were selected to organize two activities,"How much do you know about campus plants" and "Campus planting activities".Before and after the start of the practical activities,students were given plant knowledge-related test papers and Likert five-level scales and evaluated with the results of the mutual evaluation supplemental form.The results of the pre-and post-tests were compiled and analyzed,and the post-test scores of both classes 7 and 8 were higher than the pre-tests,which showed that the students' knowledge of botany had improved through this activity.However,there are still some needs in this study.However,there are still some problems that need to be solved in this study,such as the value,characteristics and typicality of the lesson examples need to be further improved,and the evaluation content needs to be revised.The author further analyzed the causes of the problems and finally proposed improvement suggestions,i.e.,improving the activity plan and the evaluation system.It also provides a case study and reference for the development and improvement of practical biology activities based on the integration of "Five Education" in our school or other schools.
