As a kind of positive learning quality,children's initiative is the key behavior quality for children to adapt to school and promote their individual socialization.The various game materials and the process of independent building make it an important activity for children's initiative to be fully respected and developed.Therefore,taking block games as the entry point can comprehensively understand the performance and characteristics of children's initiative,which is conducive to the correct understanding and mastery of children's initiative.On this basis,it is helpful for teachers to provide the most appropriate support for children's initiative performance,and also conducive to the formation of effective strategies to cultivate children's initiative.In this study,24 children from a kindergarten in chengdu were selected as the subject of study.Seven blocks game scenarios were created by natural experiment method.The performance of children in each game scenario was observed by using the adapted observation table,combined with interviews,video game records.First of all,using the quantitative way to analyze the overall level of children's initiative,the researchers concluded that children's initiative under the four dimensions of levels,including: active participation in the face of the game and enthusiastic attitude,reasonable the challenge in building game set their own goals and planning objectives according to their operation,positive activities in solving problems such as interpersonal and material operation process,independent review games and enjoy the happiness of the game.Secondly,the qualitative way is used to analyze the specific behavior of children in building block games,showing the main types of children's active behaviors in the four dimensions.Through the analysis of the research results,it is found that the characteristics of children's initiative include the dimension,quantity and mode of children's initiative.Children's initiative performance has a stage;Children's initiative performance has the characteristics of situation,which is embodied in the prominent performance of children's initiative dimension and the change of the overall level in different situations.At the same time,the building block game itself has the characteristics of promoting the performance and development of initiative,which is mainly reflected in the unique development value of building block game's planning,building block game experience accumulation and children's controllable adventure game conditions to their initiative.Based on this,this study provides teachers with the children's initiative to observe and evaluate the way,at the same time,also put forward including teachers need to pay attention to children's initiative in the current level of initiative and give a reasonable support,creating a suitable development of the game "support" and attaches great importance to the children's planning and experience on the initiative to cultivate the special value of the three recommendations cultivate the children's education initiative.Due to the inadequacy of researchers' experience and ability,the scope of observation on children's initiative performance in this study is small,and it is necessary to conduct observation and verification in combination with children's various activities,which will be the direction for further development of this study.
