Writing is the key content of Chinese teaching in primary schools,but it is also a difficult point for students to learn.In the daily teaching of Chinese writing in primary schools,teachers have fewer teaching methods.They usually arrange writing themes according to their own teaching experience,demonstrate model essays before students write,inform students of the excellence of model essays,and encourage students to copy.It is found that painting can arouse pupils' interest in learning and provide them with rich writing materials,novel observation perspectives and writing techniques.Through painting,students can break away from conventional thinking and enrich their writing content;let students feel deeply and write their compositions vividly and sensibly;let students use their body and mind to get close to life and write their compositions concretely and clearly.This paper mainly adopts the methods of theoretical research,literature research,comparative analysis and questionnaire survey,aiming at improving students' writing interest and writing level through exploration in teaching practice and drawing.Taking the fourth grade students of xx elementary school in Yangpu District of Shanghai as the teaching experimental object,this paper traces the changes in the use and writing of painting in the teaching of Chinese writing in the first to fourth grade of students,and studies how to use painting to optimize the teaching and learning of Chinese writing in elementary school.On this basis,it explores the role and value of painting in this respect,and how to effectively use painting to promote the subject of Chinese.Teaching and learning make practical attempts.The introduction part of the article is to explore the current situation and requirements of composition teaching for primary school students,to understand the current application of painting in writing teaching,and to clarify the significance of the study.The first chapter is about the investigation of students' compositions in our school,and the teaching teachers' experience about composition teaching.Through analysis,it simply explains how to set up teaching exploration in our school.The second chapter introduces the application of painting in teaching practice,which is divided into two different situations: the lower and the middle and the upper.In the younger years,"painting diaries" are mainly used to improve students' interest and accumulate writing materials.In the senior years,the ability of writing is developed through painting.Chapter three makes a case study of two exercises in senior years.Chapter IV summarizes the methods and harvest in the process of practice and draws a conclusion.With the help of painting,the success lies in: first,arousing students' interest in learning and making them happy to write;second,making students study independently and mobilizing students' ability to study independently greatly promote the development of learning efficiency and subjective initiative;third,learning to accumulate,students should remember to do a good job of material accumulation when they are young.There are also problems.First,the types of paintings have limitations for students;second,the level of students' writing is also affected by other factors.Therefore,the application of painting in the teaching of exercises needs further study.
