Due to the rapid development of economy and the rapid progress of society, our life style has changed unprecedentedly, and the physical labor is becoming less and less, which leads to the continuous improvement of the detection rate of obesity among adolescents in China;the cardiopulmonary function of adolescents is declining;and the physical quality of adolescents continues to decline.Traditional sports mostly use moderate Intensity Continuous Training MICT(Moderate Intensity Continuous Training MICT),which is characterized by long exercise time and monotonous and dull form.Because of the heavy study of young people nowadays,it is a very realistic problem that they do not have more time for effective exercise, and they often can not adhere to it.Through consulting the literature,we know that in recent years, the impact of high Intensity Iterval Training HIIT on people's health has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad. This paper chooses to carry out 8-week interval training and continuous training intervention for adolescents in order to explore the impact of the two training methods on adolescents' physical health and make a comparative study.Research methods: This paper studies through literature, expert interviews, mathematical statistics and experimental methods.40 sixth-grade students of Guanyuan Primary School in Tongzhou District of Beijing are selected as experimental subjects.Forty sixth-grade students are randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group implements high-intensity intermittent training, while the control group implements continuous training. The experiment lasts for 10 weeks. One week is a preliminary experiment, and the tenth week is a test. The 12 indexes of body shape, body function and body quality in the National Standards for Students' Physical Health are selected for the experiment. The changes of each index before and after the experiment are compared and analyzed, and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)After 8 weeks of intensive intermittent training and continuous training, the height, weight,BMI and waist circumference of the experimental group and the control group changed significantly. There were significant differences in waist circumference between the experimental group and the control group(P?0.01).There were significant differences in body weight,BMI and waist circumference between the two groups(P?0.05).There was no significant difference in the height of boys and girls between the two groups(P> 0.05).(2)After 8 weeks of intensive intermittent training and continuous training, the vital capacity and heart rate of the experimental group and the control group changed in varying degrees. There was significant difference in vital capacity between the experimental group and the control group(P?0.05).There was no significant difference in heart rate between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05).(3)After 8 weeks of high-intensity intermittent training and continuous training,the50-meter run,1-minute sit-ups,50*8 round-trip run,1-minute rope skipping, sitting forward bend and 4*10-meter turn-back run of the experimental group and the control group all improved in varying degrees. There were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in 50-meter running,1-minute sit-ups and 40*10-meter turn-back running(P?0.05).There were no significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in 50*8 round-trip running,1-minute rope skipping and sitting forward bending(P > 0.05).
