Objective: As the future of the country and the hope of the nation,teenagers' physical health problems are concerned by the society.This study attempts to explore the introduction of high-intensity interval training(HIIT),which is popular in the field of fitness,into the youth group.HIIT takes a short time and has a high intensity.It is a new way of self exercise and physical quality development for the youth under academic pressure.In addition,the experiment of HIIT and MICT is compared to increase the new choice for the development of school physical education.Methods: In this study,40 male and female students aged 13-16 years were randomly divided into two groups: male and female hit group,male and female hit group,respectively.Eight weeks of experimental intervention was conducted by using experimental method,and hit was measured respectively Group A and group B were measured before and after the experiment.Through data comparison and analysis,the changes of cardiopulmonary function,strength quality,body composition,speed quality and flexibility quality of young students before and after the experiment were analyzed,the promotion effect of eight week HIIT and MICT on young students' physical quality was compared,and the exercise mode suitable for the development of young students' physical quality was explored,so as to provide a new way for young students to exercise independently,To provide basis for the construction of school curriculum.Results: ? In the aspect of improving the cardiopulmonary function of the13-16-year-old adolescents,the results of the male and female students' vital capacity,boys' 1000 m running and girls' 800 m running in the HIIT group were significantly improved(P < 0.05).The HIIT training method was better than the MICT training method in improving the cardiopulmonary function of the adolescents.(2)In terms of improving the speed quality of 13-16-year-old adolescents,the performance of boys and girls in the HIIT group increased significantly(P < 0.05),and the HIIT training method was better than the MICT training method in improving the speed quality of adolescents.(3)In terms of improving the strength quality of 13-16-year-old adolescents,the HIIT group has a significant effect on improving boys' push ups and girls' sit ups(P < 0.05);in terms of boys' and girls' standing long jump scores,there is no significant difference between the two training methods of HIIT and Mic(P >0.05).(4)There was no significant difference between the training methods of HIIT and MICT in improving the flexibility of 13-16-year-olds(P > 0.05).(5)In terms of improving the body composition of 13-16-year-old adolescents,the HIIT group had asignificant effect on reducing the weight of boys and girls(P < 0.05);in terms of improving BMI index of boys and girls,there was no significant difference between the two training methods of HIIT and MICT(P > 0.05).Conclusion: HIIT has a significant effect on improving the physical quality of13-16 year old.
