In addition to completing the prescribed studies,the National Defense students should constantly improve their political,military and physical qualities,including physical training involving push-ups,pull-ups,100 m,3000m and 30 m,and running back and forth to and from the snake.Therefore,how to improve the level of physical ability in the four years of college training to meet the standards of military sports training is an urgent task.According to the characteristics of physical and mental development of defense students,mainly using literature and Delphi method to select the type of high intensity intermittent training,screening to improve the physical fitness of defense students.The experiment method and mathematical statistics method were used to study 50 defense students,and the control group adopted the routine training method.The experimental group used the high intensity intermittent training program designed by themselves to explore the effect of high intensity intermittent training on the physical fitness of defense students.The findings are as follows:(1)Based on the theory of sports training,24 individual actions of 4 categories of high intensity intermittent training were established;Through the heart rate monitoring,the movement intensity and interval time were quantitatively analyzed and 16 kinds of high intensity intermittent training methods were developed.According to the requirement of improving physical ability in different stages,a 12-week high intensity intermittent training scheme was designed to enrich the methods and means of physical ability training for defense students.(2)After 12 weeks of intervention,there were four differences between the experimental group and the control group.Among them,there was a significant difference between the test index of standing long jump and lung capacity(P<0.05),and there was a significant difference between push-ups and 3000m(P<0.01).The results show that the training effect of high intensity intermittent training program is superior to that of conventional training.(3)Before and after the intervention experiment,the body quality and body function test index of the experimental group were improved.In addition to the failure of the test index of vertical and anterior flexion,there were significant differences between the 3 indexes of standing long jump,100 m and 30 m snake running(P<0.05),push-ups,3000 m and lung capacity(P<0.01).It shows that high intensity intermittent training can improve the physical ability of defense students,especially in terms of strength,endurance and lung capacity.(4)The implementation of high intensity intermittent training programs in the physical training of defense students makes the physical training no longer boring and tasteless,and the effect of physical training is good,which provides theoretical and practical basis for the implementation of scientific and systematic physical training of defense students.
