Standardization Study Of The Danger Assessment Scale For Domestic Violence

The purpose of this study is to compile a Danger Assessment scale for the Mainland China(DASMC),and to test the reliability and validity of DASMC to provide a scientific assessment tool for anti-domestic violence work.Researcher use accidental sampling technique to choose samples in the women’s federations and professional social work institutions which is distributed in seven regions of China,including Beijing,Hunan,Guangdong,Yunnan,Gansu,Nanjing,Inner Mongolia.Finally,184 cases of intimate violence victims were tested and 100 of the victims were re-tested within 2-4 weeks.Then research carry on the project analysis and the exploratory factor analysis to analyze the collected data in the SPSS 24.0.Besides adopts the internal consistency reliability,the semi-reliability and the re-test reliability to test scale’s reliability,and use the structure validity,the criterion validity and the ROC Curve prediction validity to test scale’s validity.The results are as follows:(1)through the test of critical ratio,the examination of the total correlation and exploratory factor analysis,the final formation of DASMC contain 11 variables in three dimensions and 2 special variables,the load value range of each variable on each common factor is 0.519~0.847,These three dimensions cumulatively explain the total variance of the original variable which is 55.679%;(2)Internal consistency reliability: DASMC’s Cronbach’s coefficient alpha is 0.790,its three dimension’s Cronbach’s coefficient alpha are 0.692,0.687,0.572 respectively.(3)semi-confidence: the total table’s half confidence is 0.812,and the half confidence of three dimensions are 0.707,0.658,0.578 separately;(4)Test-retest reliability: Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.822(P<0.01),and r of its three dimension is 0.752,0.747,0.661(P<0.01);(5)Structural validity: Through the confirmatory factor analysis,it is found that CMIN/DF is 1.445,RMR and RMSEA is 0.011,0.050 respectively,GFI and AGFI are 0.945,0.911 respectively.(6)school standard correlation validity: DASMC and DAS-R pearson correlation coefficient R for 0.896(P<0.01);(7)Predictive validity: the area of under the ROC curve is 0.863 about prediction of lethal violence,which means that moderate near height accuracy.In summary,DASMC has a high degree of reliability and validity,which can be used as a standardized evaluation tool for anti-domestic violence work,improve the efficiency and consistency of clinical staff execution,and optimize the social resource allocation of anti-domestic violence work.
