Education intergenerational mobility has been a hot spot in the field of pedagogy,sociology,etc.The function of education to the society is not only to promote the economic growth,at the same time as an important mechanism of intergenerational mobility,has the function of promoting social mobility,ensuring the social justice and maintaining social stability.Therefore,to research the intergenerational mobility of education deeply can help people know the intergenerational mobility more comprehensively,and provide theoretical support to promote social mobility and social stability.So,to research on the Xinjiang uygur education intergenerational mobility is particularly important to promote the education development of ethnic areas,promote the rational social mobility and maintain social stability and development.Based on Xinjiang uygur as the research object,this paper selected the Emin county of Tacheng region and Cele county of Hetian region as the research site,adopted the combination of quantitative research and qualitative research methods,based on the combination of the macro data and field survey data,and supplemented by interview data,analyze uyghur's condition of the education level,the status of intergenerational mobility of education,and the influence factors of intergenerational mobility.Using transformation matrix analyze the present situation of educational intergenerational mobility,and comparing with the rest of the country,present the particularity of Xinjiang uygur.And then through building the regression model and analyze the interview data,comprehensively analyze of the influence factors of educational intergenerational mobility,to promote the educational intergenerational mobility of Xinjiang uygur to provide a more comprehensive theoretical reference.This Study found: the education level of Xinjiang uygur has increased,but the educational intergenerational mobility is much lower,especially the upward intergenerational mobility,it is under the national average.It means that intergenerational transmission is higher.Parent education level,occupation,income,education method and education expectation,and their offspring gender,household registration are all the main factors influencing for the educational intergenerational mobility.Firstly,the level of education has improved significantly of the Uighur population.As times changed,the average education years of Xinjiang uygur has increased significantly,the population of lower education level presents decreasing trend,the population of higher education level showed a trend of increasing.Comparing different sexes,men' education level has been higher than women,but the gap between the sexes becomes narrowed.Comparing the han population,and minority population,the population of low educational degree level is higher,and highly educational degree population level is lower.Secondly,the educational intergenerational transmission is high,and upward intergenerational mobility is low,which are the Xinjiang uygur main characteristics.There is the intergenerational transmission in Xinjiang uygur.And the highest education levels of intergenerational transmission is highest.Compared with the rest of the country,the inertia ratio,the inertia ratio is higher,Shorrocks value,upward intergenerational mobility is lower,namely,intergenerational transmission is higher than other areas in China,intergenerational mobility is lower than other regions,especially the upward of intergenerational mobility.Thirdly,the family background factors and their offspring gender,household registration are the main factors education of causing the intergenerational mobilityParents' education level,parents' occupation,income,family education method and education expectation,as well as the sex of the offspring and the household registration is the main factor affecting of Xinjiang uygur.Parent education level is more higher,the children'education level is more higher.Parent professional is the professional and technical person,the children' education level is the most highest.Household income above 5001 yuan,children can get the highest level of education.the family education way is to pay attention to children,the education expectation is above graduate students,the children have the highest level of education.In addition,the system of macro factors and genetic factors may also affect on education intergenerational mobility.Therefore,in order to promote the intergenerational mobility of education of Xinjiang uygur,should consider from the following aspects: firstly,carry on the reform of the system,optimize the allocation of education resources;secondly,promote the development of local the second and the third industry,increase the source of economic and security education investment;thirdly,run a good social atmosphere,change the idea of "reading is useless".
