| Chinese course is a required public basic course for secondary vocational school students.The Chinese Course Standards for Secondary Vocational Schools(Draft for Consultation)(2016)describes the task of Chinese Course in Secondary Vocational Schools as "improving humanistic literacy,fostering good moral quality,and becoming all-round high-quality technical and skilled personnel".To effectively meet the requirements of talent cultivation,this study used literature research,observation,investigation and interview to investigate the language learning needs of students from five different majors in three public secondary vocational schools in D city.The questionnaire survey adopted random sampling method,149 secondary vocational school students were selected,and 10 secondary vocational school students were selected as interview subjects according to their professional characteristics.Questionnaire survey is carried out from the aspects of language learning motivation,learning process needs,learning environment needs,and differences in learning needs of different majors of vocational school students.According to the statistics and analysis of the survey and interview results,it is found that: in the respect of learning motivation,Chinese learning motivation need to be strengthened urgently,sub-specialty Teaching demand is strong,and "speaking" and "writing" skills need to be strong demand for secondary vocational school students;in the respect of the needs of learning process,the guidance of correct language learning methods need to be strengthened and their ability to express and communicate needs to be improved for vocational school students;in respect of learning environment demand,secondary vocational school students are most willing to accept visual and visual learning activities,teacher-led teaching model,professional needs,students’ characteristics,teaching materials adapted to reflect professionalism and interest,examination evaluation based on professional needs,extracurricular activities based on skills training and giving priority to the use of modern teaching methods;in the respect of survey of different professional language learning needs,to understand the conventional applied style is the basic requirement for reading,to expand to thesocial field is the new requirement for oral communication ability,and to meet the post requirements is the different requirement of writing ability.Based on of the above,this study offer some countermeasures to meet the needs of secondary vocational students in language learning,including strengthening the management of differentiated teaching objectives,encouraging teachers to innovate teaching management methods,and advocating teachers to carry out colorful extracurricular activities. |
