Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 edition)”on the framework of “synthesis and practice” conforming to the requirements of education in the development of the times.The rise of this field provides a new way for students to learn.Therefore,as an important part of mathematics curriculum,“synthesis and practice” should play a role to promote the improvement of students' exploring ability and ability of solving problem.The purpose of the study is to understand the current situation of the teaching of “synthesis and practice” in primary school mathematics,finding out the existing problem,and then putting forward the corresponding strategies.Students in the second learning period have learning experience of “synthesis and practice”.The second learning period is more reality than the first learning period in experimental data.Therefore,the second learning period of primary school as the investigation focus.The research mainly through questionnaire survey,interview and classroom observation for three primary school mathematics teachers and students in Qinhuangdao to understand their teaching situation and students learning situation,reflecting the teaching status of “synthesis and practice” in the second section of primary mathematics.The investigation found that,the teaching goals are too general and the analyses are insufficient;grasping the comprehensive teaching is not well;the imbalance between teachers' leading role and students' dominant position;the teaching is confined to classroom.students do not perform well on their study tasks;“synthesis and practice” teaching evaluation method is single.According to the above problems,the following attribution can be made: lacking understanding of Mathematics “synthesis and practice” for teachers;effected by the class hour and class size;effected by the training and appraisals.Specific strategies proposed include;School should improve the curriculum design and implementation of “synthesis and practice ” in Mathematics.Establishing assessment and incentive mechanism and providing teaching support.Teachers should strengthen the overall grasp of “synthesis and practice ” in Mathematics.Attaching Importance to the Formulation and Analysis of Teaching Objective.Promoting the Integration of “Integration and Practice” and the Subject Status of Students.Appropriate Extension of “synthesis and practice” to Extracurricular Activities.Arranging of students' learning tasks.Focusing on the diversity of evaluation methods,etc.According to the requirements of Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 edition)to investigate for teachers and students.Questionnaires and interviews were conducted to find out the problems in the second stage of mathematics teaching,to better understand the teaching situation of “synthesis and practice” and to find out the existing problems in the second stage of mathematics.However,due to the limitation of researchers' knowledge and ability,the relevant suggestions cannot solve all the problems and need to be further studied.
