Autistic trait is a new concept derived from autism spectrum disorder.The autistic traits are continuously distributed in the population,not only in autistic patients,but also in a wide range of normal people.People with high autism traits who have not yet reached the clinical diagnostic criteria show similar but less severe characteristics to those with autism in terms of social interaction,expression ability and behavior pattern.High school students are in a critical period of physical and mental development.The high level of autistic traits may affect their social and non-social development.If they are not guided and interfered,they may hinder their healthy growth.Previous studies have shown that autistic traits are related to empathy and social anxiety,and Social avoidance belongs to the research category of social anxiety,but no scholars explore the relationship between autistic traits,social avoidance and empathy,and the way individuals intervene in high autistic traits.Therefore,this study mainly takes first year high school students as an example to explore the relationship between autistic traits,social avoidance and empathy in senior high school students,and further explore the influence of empathy training group guidance on the level of empathy and social avoidance in non-clinical students with high autistic traits.In this study,the autism quotient questionnaire,social avoidance and distress questionnaire and interpersonal response index questionnaire were used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 1,401 senior high school students in a middle school.SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the demographic differences and the relationships among the traits of autism,social avoidance and empathy of the subjects.According to the result of questionnaire survey and personal wishes,32 high autistic traits of students as the research object,the 16 experimental subjects for 8 weeks of empathy training group guidance,the control group did not make any intervention,compare the experimental group and control group in the level of empathy and social avoidance of the differences between before and after the test,to evaluate the empathy training intervention effect of group counseling.The main results are as follows:First,the trait level of autism has significant differences in gender,only-child status,class cadre status and student origin.Among them,the trait level of male autism is significantly higher than that of female.The autistic trait level of non-only child was significantly higher than that of only children.The level of autistic trait of non-class cadre students was significantly higher than that of class cadre students.The level of autistic trait of rural students was significantly higher than that of county and city students.Secondly,social avoidance level has significant differences in gender,class cadre and student origin.Among them,male social avoidance is significantly higher than female.The social avoidance of non-class cadre students was significantly higher than that of class cadre students.The social avoidance of rural students was significantly higher than that of urban students.Thirdly,there are significant differences in empathy level in gender,only-child status and class cadre status.Among them,female empathy was significantly higher than male empathy.Non-only-child empathy was significantly higher than only-child empathy.The empathy of class cadre students was significantly higher than that of non-class cadre students.Fourth,there was a significant positive correlation between autistic trait level and social avoidance level.there was a significant negative correlation between autistic trait level and empathy level.social avoidance level and empathy level were significantly negative.Fifth,the group counseling program of empathy training in this study improved the empathy level of students with high autistic traits and reduced their social avoidance level.The above results indicate that individuals with high autistic traits have higher levels of social avoidance and lower levels of empathy.After 8 weeks of empathy training group counseling,the experimental group not only improved the level of empathy but also reduced their social avoidance.The level indicates that the empathy training program designed by the Institute has an intervention effect on the high empathy trait students to improve the level of empathy and reduce the level of social avoidance.
