Mathematical applications are accompanied by the progress and development of human society,and modern scientific information technology is constantly changing and innovating.Cultivating students' comprehensive mathematics application quality has become an urgent need of contemporary society,and mathematical modeling is an important method to improve students' comprehensive application of mathematics.The new curriculum standard advocates the entry of mathematical modeling into the middle school mathematics classroom.How to better integrate mathematical modeling ideas into middle school mathematics teaching has become one of the research directions of mathematics educators.This paper conducts research through literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview methods.First of all,to understand the research status and theoretical basis of the integration of mathematical modeling ideas at home and abroad into middle school mathematics teaching;Second,through the student questionnaire and teacher interview survey,It is found that the current teaching methods of high school mathematics are generally based on traditional teaching styles.Teachers and students have a low level of understanding of mathematical modeling.According to the three levels of the 2017 edition of the new high school curriculum standard mathematical modeling,most students can reach the level of mathematics modeling level one and level two.Fewer students can reach the level of mathematical modeling three;Then analyze the influencing factors of mathematics modeling teaching in high school from the aspects of students,teachers,parents,and society.For example: students' college entrance examination pressure,teachers lack of high school mathematics modeling professional literacy,and lack of appropriate middle school mathematics modeling teachingmaterials.Combined with the basic steps of mathematical modeling,Introduce teaching cases such as trigonometric function model,exponential function model and linear programming model in high school.Provide a teaching case reference for the practical teaching of mathematical modeling.Finally,based on the theoretical basis and practical investigation,combined with the basic requirements of the new curriculum standard,suggestions on how to better integrate mathematical modeling ideas into high school mathematics teaching:(1)Grasping the method of mathematical modeling into the teaching of high school mathematics;(2)Grasp the selection of topics for high school mathematics modeling teaching;(3)Do a good job in transitional teaching in middle and high schools;(4)Create and construct an communication environment for mathematical modeling in middle schools.
