General Secretary Xi Jinping proposes in his report of the 19 th National Congress that cultural self-confidence should be strengthened and the prosperity of socialist culture should be promoted.Excellent traditional culture that has far-reaching history and broad realistic foundation is the soul and blood in the development of the Chinese ethnic peoples.And it is the stable pillar of the Chinese nation's eternal development and inheritance.In order to inherit and carry Forward the excellent traditional culture of our country and promote the students' cultural self-confidence,the teaching of excellent traditional culture plays an important role in the primary stage of basic education.Chinese excellent traditional music culture is a significance of Chinese excellent traditional culture.Music class in Primary Schools is the basic way and important way to learn music.Strengthening Chinese excellent traditional music culture education in music teaching of Primary Schools is an important way of inheriting Chinese excellent traditional culture and has the basic and long-term function.The author found the three primary schools,S,H and L,can represent the level of music teaching in K city through field visits.This thesis adopted literature analysis,field interview,questionnaire survey and observation to investigate three primary schools in K city.Based on the questionnaires of teaching current situation,field interviews and observation of primary school students about Chinese excellent traditional music culture,this thesis made an attempt to understand the situation of primary school students' cognition,the learning situation and teaching conditions in Chinese excellent traditional music culture and put forward corresponding optimization strategies.This thesis first introduces the reasons and significance of the study,and summarizes the current situation of the researches on the traditional culture and excellent traditional music culture teaching in our country.Then,the author made a theoretical analysis on the contemporary primary school students' cognitive level and preference of Chinese excellent traditional music culture.After defining the concepts of elementary school music class,teaching and Chinese excellent traditional music culture,the author analyzed the significance of primary school students' cognition and inheritance on Chinese excellent traditional music culture.Through the analysis of the data,it is found that the three primary schools in K City have the following problems in the teaching of Chinese excellent traditional music culture: firstly,there is a low degree of correlation between the campus cultural construction and excellent traditional music culture.Secondly,teachers' knowledge about Chinese excellent traditional music culture is relatively insufficient;music teaching facilities are not perfect enough;Curriculum setting and teaching materials are more randomly.Thirdly,the content of music teaching is more popular;Teaching methods and means are single;there is no music teaching evaluation.fourthly,there is single type of music extracurricular activity.the reasons are followings: firstly,the excellent traditional music culture atmosphere has not been formed.Secondly,teacher quality is relatively weak;There are relatively short of funds in schools;the school does not attach great importance to music teachers.Thirdly,there are less opportunities for teachers to go out to exchange and train;The degree of recognition on music lessons in the schools is relatively inadequate.Fourthly,there is not high frequency of music extracurricular activities.Based on the problems and reasons above,this thesis puts forward the effective and concrete countermeasures of Chinese excellent traditional music culture in the teaching of three primary schools in K city: Firstly,the construction of campus material environment and cultural environment in music should be increased.Secondly,the faculty should be strengthened.Thirdly,music teaching facilities need to be improved.Fourthly,the curriculum and the content of teaching materials should be optimized;Fifthly,the teaching contents need to be enriched.Sixthly,teaching methods and teaching means should be increased.Seventhly,music teaching evaluation should also be carried out.
