With the advancement of the urbanization process in China, more and more rural people flows to cities. However,as the urban-rural dual system still exists in China, the rural-urban migrants are in a marginal state in both work and life in the city, and this marginal state is also affecting the decision to stay in the city or return home for them.Since 2015,the scale of the migrants has been decreasing continuously,so what factors have affected the rural-urban migrants ' willingness to return home? It is worth conducting in-depth research.Based on Migrants Population Dynamic Monitoring Survey Data in 2016,this paper studies the demographic characteristics, housing situation, employment status and immigration experience of rural-urban migrants through cross table. On this basis, the binary logistic model was used to explore the influence of individual factors, economic factors, emigrant factors and institutional factors on the willingness to return home. Finally,I draw a conclusion from the results of statistical analysis. For personal factors, the migrants aged between 51 and 70 years old shows a stronger willingness to return home;More educated migrants are less likely to return home;Unmarried migrants are more likely to return home than other marital status. For economic factors, the more housing expenditure and the total monthly expenditure of the whole family, the stronger the willingness to return home. The migrants that the unit provides housing is more willing to return home than the others that rent a house outside. The migrants that the government provides housing and own housing is relatively less willing to return home. For emigrant factors, with the increase of immigrant distance and immigrant times, the willingness to return home increases;the intentions of migrants who migrate alone is higher than that of other migrants. The migrants who participated in the New Rural Cooperative Medical System have higher willingness to return home than those who did not participate in the insurance. While the migrants who participated in the medical insurance for urban workers have a lower willingness to return home than those who did not participate in the insurance. On the basis of studying the influencing Factors for the returning intentions of rural-urban migrants, this thesis also explores the predicament of rural-urban migrants in the City. And I put forward relevant suggestions from the perspective of the government,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the promotion of urbanization and formulate of a scientific policy on rural-urban migrants.
