In the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward an important point of view at the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities held in December 2016.Through the "Four Unified" concept of teacher ethics,we can guide the construction of teacher ethics in Colleges and universities in China.At the meeting,General Secretary Xi stressed: "Teachers are engineers of the human soul and shoulder the sacred mission.The preacher himself first needs to know the way and channel.Teachers in Colleges and universities should insist that educators receive education first,strive to become disseminators of advanced ideology and culture,and strong supporters of the Party in power,and better shoulder the responsibility of instructors and guides for students' healthy growth.We should strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics and style of teaching,adhere to the unity of teaching and educating people,adhere to the unity of preaching and teaching by example,adhere to the unity of devoting ourselves to asking questions and paying attention to society,adhere to the unity of academic freedom and academic norms,and guide teachers to stand by virtue,learn by virtue and teach by virtue."Teachers are the foundation of education,the source of education,and shoulder the important task of making every child grow up healthily and educating the people satisfactorily." Teachers,as the guide of students' growth and success,undertake the sacred mission of cultivating socialist construction and successors for our country.The particularity of the profession of teachers determines that teachers must be people of noble morality.In the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping's "Four Unified" concept of teacher ethics is a new expression and new idea put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping in the context of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era.Especially since the 18 th National Congress,according to the actual development of higher education in China and the need of teachers' important roles and responsibilities,the construction of teacher ethics in Colleges and universities in China has provided value guidance.Chapter ?,Introduction.This chapter mainly elaborates the background and significance of the topic selection,analyses the research status at home and abroad,the research ideas and methods of paper writing,and finally the innovation and shortcomings of the paper.Chapter ?,the background of the "four unified" concept of teacher morality in the new era.This chapter mainly includes the background of the construction of socialist country with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the realistic needs of the construction of teachers' morality and style in Colleges and universities,and the responsibility of teachers' roles in Colleges and universities.Chapter ?,the formation of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality in the new era.Firstly,based on the standpoint and viewpoint of Marxism,this paper uses the basic principles of Marxism to explore the theoretical basis of the formation of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality.Secondly,it analyses the formation process of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality.Finally,it explains the significance of the formation of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality.Chapter ?,the basic content of the "four unified" concept of teacher morality in the new era.This chapter elaborates on the basic contents and ideological essence of four aspects of unification,namely,adherence to the unification of teaching and educating people;adherence to the unification of preaching and teaching by example;adherence to the unification of devoting oneself to asking questions and paying attention to society;and adherence to the unification of academic freedom and academic norms.In order to deepen the understanding of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality,the basic content of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality has been clarified.Chapter ?,the value commitment of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality in the new era.Based on the research foundation of the previous four chapters,this paper elaborates the value commitment of the "four unified" concept of teachers' morality from the theoretical value,practical value and social value.
