In contrast to the rapid development of living standards in 21 century,the cultural-ethical realm of our society is facing greater challenges.The outlook on life and values,including the attitude towards love,are changing greatly under the impact of material improvement.As an increasing number of teenage boys and girls have entered life tragedies due to their ignorance in romantic love,educators should not just feel sorrow for these young lives but take actions and contribute to love education in school.Love is an eternal theme in Chinese literature,which,starting with "The Book of Songs"--the source of love poems,has a history of more than 2000 years,providing numerous inspiring and impressive love stories.Love literature can be a treasure for love education in senior high schools.13 out of 66 articles in general senior school curriculum standard experimental textbook of People's Education Press are related to the theme of love and marriage,accounting for 19.7%.,which means that senior high Chinese textbook has a relatively rich amount of love education resource.This thesis researches the current love attitudes of senior high students as well as the status quo of love education in Chinese classrooms through a questionnaire.In face of the missing of love education in senior high education,this thesis advocates the integrating of love education in Chinese classes,making full use of the textbook articles with the theme of love and marriage.This thesis also puts forward teaching strategies,teaching methods and teaching principles for the articles about love and marriage on the basis of analyzing articles of this kind in the Chinese textbook of People's Education Press.This thesis devotes to help students grow to be sincere,kind and affectionate by learning the truth of love through studying,reading and thinking over the classic love works.It would not only help them to know and appreciate love in current state,but also help them to properly choose,enjoy and take responsibility of love in the future.
