Above of all,this study used Huang Shun's questionnaire on career guidance content needs for senior high school students,Li Lianning's academic hope questionnaire for senior high school students and Zhang Shuhua et al.'s version of middle school students'career exploration questionnaire to investigate Senior One Students from two schools in Inner Mongolia,in order to acquire students' present situation of career guidance content demand,academic hope and career exploration and discuss the relationship among them.Besides,according to the results of the research on the current situation,based on academic hope theory and career exploration,the study organizes a set of career exploration group counseling program orientated with academic hope for Senior One Students in order to discuss the counseling program' influence on the academic hope and the career exploration level of senior high school students.The results are as follows through the analysis:(1)There is a great need for career guidance in Senior One Students,and there are internal differences in the content of the needs.The demands of female students in the four dimensions of career content guidance and self-exploration,higher education exploration,career exploration and career preparation were significantly greater than those of boys.The needs of minority students in the four dimensions of career content guidance and self-exploration,higher education exploration,career exploration and career preparation are significantly greater than those of the Han students.The demands of the students from general middle school in the four dimensions of career content guidance and self-exploration,higher education exploration,career exploration and career preparation are significantly greater than those of students from key middle school.Also the demands of rural students in all dimensions are significantly greater than those of urban students.(2)The level of academic hope in each dimension of male students in Senior One is significantly higher than that of female students.The level of academic hope of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students in each dimension.The level of academic hope of key middle school students is significantly higher than that of ordinary middle school in each dimension.(3)The level of boys' career exploration is significantly higher than that of girls.The level of career exploration,emotion,cognition and behavior of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students.The level of career exploration,emotion,cognition and behavior of key middle school students is significantly higher than that of ordinary middle school students.(4)The total score of career exploration,behavior,emotion and cognition have significant positive correlation with academic hope,but have negative correlation with the demands of career counseling content.Academic hope has a positive predictive effect on the cognition,emotion and behavior of career exploration,while the needs of career guidance content have a negative predictive effect on cognition,emotion and behavior of career exploration.(5)The career exploration group counseling program orientated with academic hope can effectively improve the academic hope and career exploration level of senior high school students.
